Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Even if you ignore the fact it has nothing to do with the games, it's still boring. By having nothing to do with any of the games, it is therefore exactly like the games. But yeah, it was terrible. TO me, any movie that eschews proper build for action tends to be really boring. The payoff means nothing if there's no work to get there. That's why I think the best horror movies don't start off with a murder

A few so called 'comedies' on Netflix. Daltry Calhoun, No Safety Guaranteed, The Assassination, John Dies At The End, Demoted. zzzzzz.
Also, The Worlds End, Walter Mitty, 12 Years A Slave.

I read Fellowship and...yeah. I really liked the Hobbit book, but the follow up books just weren't special. I personally think Peter Jackson is a hack, I mean to me, any film maker would need to put some trademark on their work if they adapted a book. To me, LOTR is pretty much exactly the book. I know a lot of people like that, but to me...*why* even adapt it then? Because it's simply another medium to enjoy the work? Come on. . They aren't exactly the same, there is a lot taken out from the story that I feel enhanced the movies Peter Jackson actually managed to tell the story much more competently and concise than Tolkien did, since Tolkien spent so much more of his time building the universe and adding far more extraneous stuff than actually telling the story. From what I remember the only real change that was unnecessary was adding the Elves at Helms Deep to have a were all friends moment. The Hobbit movies are a completely different matter.

The book had a much more clearly defined arc of the Hobbits becoming heroes in their own right that the movie left out. They started the story helpless and needing to be saved by, basically, a diety. Over time they ended up saving the shire all on their own.

1980s Flash Gordon. I got through twenty minutes before switching it off.
I'm also going to say Unbreakable. Just a complete snooze-fest.
