Thanks, I needed that laugh.
I mean... Can't say it's something that just won't work, because crazier things and more illogical pairings have gotten over like wildfire before. It's just hard to picture, really.

It's just hard to picture, really. I'm a fan of The Ascension. I'll be the first one to admit that their act is limited in the ring-they are kind of reminiscent of teams like The Road Warriors or Demolition-they rely on flashy, power style moves and no selling the other team's offense. But they have a great look and really good chemistry as a team. And I've thought for a while now that they would benefit enormously from having a manager to do the talking for them, but it feels like an odd fit. Bray Wyatt's whole image is of a backwoods cult leader, while the Ascension are more like a pair of metalheads. I suppose the logic is that because they are both "Dark" gimmicks the will mesh, but it feels awkward.

I don't know, this feels like New Nexus to me, except the leader's still the same this time.

Oh man, how is Harper going to be repackaged? For the sheer idiocy of it, I kind of hope he comes out clean-shaven, with neatly cut hair, in a $1000 suit, becomes Corporate Harper, and joins the Authority.
Actually, him replacing Kane would be a decent idea.
And Rowan can become the WWE's latest hip-hop loving big guy.

Maybe when the Ascension tag along with Bray, they'll ditch the dark nu-metal attire and wear dirty tanktops and jumpsuits.

And Rowan can become the WWE's latest hip-hop loving big guy. Vince has just discovered Golden age hip-hop and will repackage both of them as Eric R and Hakim.

I think Harper and Wyatt will be this generation's Kane/Undertaker. However for Rowan I dunno, I like the guy, but he seems too much like a tag team wrestler.

Bryan Alvarez on today's Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show at F4WOnline.com states the current plan is that Harper and Rowan will be broken off from Wyatt, and that Wyatt then acquires his new charges - The Ascension. OH GOD NO. What in the bluest of hells did I do to Vince to deserve this? Poor Bray. He's doomed.

Rowan needs to take over Kane's spot so Kane can retire because if this is true Idk how his career will go.

I think the Ascension should be Korporate Demon Kane's lackeys.

I think the Ascension should be Korporate Demon Kane's lackeys. What's ironic is they were rumored to team with him at Wrestlemania instead of The Outlaws earlier this year.
