So its no secret that I'm not a fan of AJ Lee. At all. I stated in another thread that I dislike her and don't see why she would be anyone's favorite, and Sean Carless asked if I was ever curious as to why people like her.
And honestly, I am curious. In all seriousness, I would like to know, aside from her looks, what is it about her that makes her a favorite of yours.
Rational, irrational, doesn't matter, I'd love to know why.

I like the idea of AJ, as I do with several other divas. I'm pretty sure she's a good wrestler? She works in a company that hates women so it's really hard to tell.

I used to really like AJ before she became GM...really cannot stand her now.To me,she just really comes across like someone who thinks her shit don't stink.

He's a great wrestler. The Styles clash was my favorite finisher for a while.

AJ is easily one of the best all round female talents since Lita and Trish, solid in just about every category. But the way she has been booked for a while now, in my opinion at least, has been detrimental to all the other women in the roster-which, in turn, is detrimental to AJ herself. Between NXT and the main roster, WWE is stacked with gorgeous, talented, and diverse female stars, any of whom could be capable of putting on incredible matches and feuds against AJ. But for some reason WWE doesn't want to use that potential.

I'm not as big a fan as I used to be but I admire how she made a name for herself without vanity, selfies and narcissism like most of the rest of them. I also have a soft spot for anybody who is a mark for wrestling

I like her because she's a wrestling fan who pushed herself to become a wrestler. WWE is full of so many girls who knew nothing of wrestling before being hired based on their looks, so any time we get an AJ or a Beth Phoenix who are actual wrestling fans, I enjoy them. It shows in their work, too.

Haven't watched a ton of her work, but she's from the same city as my mother, so that's pretty cool.

She's in the Cena category of being exposed way too much. He wrestling skill isn't really something to brag about and is often sloppy. Her character is nothing special since it's been done before. To put it short, she's just agglomeration of things that's been done before and WWE is trying to pass it off as new shit.

I liked what she started off as. A plucky underdog type, who seemed to be a potential face of the division for young girls to look up to. She was good in the ring, by any Diva standards, sympathetic and could sell like death. I liked the true life story of a lifelong fan who had made it, and I liked being able to see that this daft pantomime can inspire true passion and emotional connection, which can last a lifetime.
Then they turned her into Psycho Crazy Bitch #37, because women be crazy, y'all. Am I right? They're kind of evil and toy with the poor men, who just want to either hook up or brand them sluts. Or both. It ain't fair.
So since then, it's been pretty tough to care about what she does, in the ring and in character. She still seems like a very nice person in real life, though.

I haven't really liked her at all lately, Monday sold it for me. If she were to leave now to have a family with Punk I wouldn't really miss her. She had a good run tho.

She's a decent wrestler who's good on the mic. In a world where the Bellas are doing Lifetime movie of the week 14th billed casting quality performances, that's great.
Plus her size allows her to sell well.
And she's just fun.

She's good, the only thing I don't like about her is the fact that she insists on doing these cutesy faces like an anime character.
I kinda wish people would stop chanting CM Punk at her though.
I mean yes it's public knowledge by now that theyre an item but god damn, let it GO.

I enjoy when WWE gives a shit and lets wrestlers do interviews and have defining characteristics. AJ's persona isnt unique or anything, but I think she's good at playing it, is an acceptable talker, and is a pretty good wrestler. So, with all of that, she's able to shine in a division where no one else really has much of a character or is ever given time or opportunity to build one on their main show (the only one I watch now). As a result, AJ is my favorite diva almost by default.

She's a solid all-around talent, plus she's a fellow gamer. I also like that she actually acknowledges her fans on Twitter.

I can tell she has some talent...
But I'll be truthful: So many people talked about how great she is and how good she can be, but every time I see her she's wrestling another B- match that's followed up with Z grade "acting" I guess you might call it.
So I tend to think she's overblown. She's ok, that's about it. I'd rather watch Alicia Fox/Naomi/Paige/Nattie wrestle.

AJ is my favorite woman in the company, very entertaining, unique charisma. And solid in the ring. Also hot.
I like crazy personally, and hey it's working for Dean Ambrose. I do think they've made blunders with AJ's character, especially this week with a very heel move against Emma, but she does well with what they give her. Eye rolling, skipping, funny faces, girly shenanigans, who doesn't like that?
