He was stupid to walk around pointing a realistic looking gun at people, especially a black kid whose parents really should have told him not to do shit like that given how trigger happy police are towards black males. But then again, he was 12, and 12 year olds don't know shit. So I think the police could have waited more than 5 seconds before gunning him down. That's my main issue here. I mean, being a former 12 year old boy, logic isn't running the best and he's just playing around. I know my cousin would have been like that but he also is white and wouldn't have been shot.

www.cbc.ca/news/world/tamir-rice-12-fatally-shot-by-cleveland-police-while-holding-toy-gun-1.2846326From reading the CBC story on it, it says he didn't point the gun at the cops. The life threatening situation it didn't seem to be. But then again, it's a black kid, so that's a life threatening situation in itself I guess. Basically what this case, and many others is the whole lethal force concept really needs to be brought into question, because it does seem like a life threatening situation is, look, it's a black kid so he might as well be a 10 foot 7 armed monster. "Authorities said the boy was told to raise his hands and was shot when he pulled the pellet gun from his waistband" from the source you sent me if police tell you to raise your hand and you go for your gun your gonna get shot Dude, when what the cops say do not jive with the video evidence you really, really cannot take the cops word over what your own two eyes can see. There was absolutely no chance that they gave him instructions to follow. He jumped back as the cops approached because it had to have looked like they were about to run him over and did not have the opportunity to draw his pellet gun on the cops. They zoomed up on him, scared the piss out of him, and shot him dead before any talking could have been done.

The cop jumped out and straight up shot him. He didn't have time to react to anything said if anything was said at all.

I disagree with this part. Pellet guns are not toys, nor are they considered toys. That's why they don't have the high visibility orange markings that a toy would require. Whatever, it's still not a lethal threat and that's still not justification to KILL A GODDAMN 12-YEARS-OLD.

Geez. ...... So, I guess we should just go ahead and except that cops will hardly ever get indicted for shootings? There've been reports that most grand juries return indictments... except when it's a cop that would be indicted. I'm going to look for the reports I saw this in so I can link'm. SourceSource

It gets even better. The name of the other officer involved in the shooting seemed vaguely familiar to me for some reason. I now know why. This is not his first time making national news. Source: www.cleveland.com/court-justice/index.ssf/2014/12/cleveland_paid_out_100000_to_w.htmlThis SOB cost the city of Cleveland $100K for illegal use of force and was still employed, let alone partnered with someone who was fired as a cop due to being unfit for the job? They kept him employed even though the US Dept of Justice was actively investigating the Cleveland PD (for the second time after having already done so during the Clinton presidency)? WHAT THE HELL, CLEVELAND!!??
