You might want to change the title of the topic too. It wasn't a trial.

The thread is allowed, as this is an event that we honestly cannot avoid. However, please keep it civil. Don't flame each other and do not deviate into politics that have nothing to do with the case. We will be watching this thread closely. Can we comment on what some asshat former politician from New York said about it? I ask because the comments of a certain current Fox News contributor this weekend just made my blood boil. I cannot even imagine how much those comments pissed off black people. You can talk about it but do not go into the politics in such a way that breaks forum rules, so no saying one party is wrong, don't go into liberal vs. conservative notions, do not wish death or say something stupid about it. You can go into comments but don't break rules. If we have to, we'll edit but, and this is for everybody, use common sense and do not flame each other.

I obviously disagree with the decision. For the sake of the thread, I'll keep my opinons limited.

I'm heartbroken is pretty much all I can say. Watching everything unfold in Ferguson in tears. All of this is so sad and infuriating.

If they're going to release unseen evidence then I'll save judgment on wherever or not I think it was the right decision until then. I'm just saddened some of these idiots are already torching police cars and stuff. The media has such a hard on for this. They should have followed suit of what happened after Trayvon and didn't take the bait. Protest if you must, but if they go over the line then I have no remorse if people take matters into their own hands to protect themselves and their own.

It's not really surprising, frustrating, but not surprising. I use the word frustrating because saying I'm disappointed would mean that I expected a different outcome.

Let me preface this point by saying that this is NOT intended to be political. Do not respond with any political themed responses. It just shows the surreality of it all.

None of outside of those men and women of the grand jury and the judge have seen all the evidence or know what they know. The story no matter where you stand is sad enough, but there is no reason to make it worse.

There's not a riot. Though if there was one, at least it'd be totally understandable.
It's not a bunch of people setting shit on fire over some goddamn pumpkin bullshit.

Is CNN in the lead to see how many reporters can get tear gassed?
But this is a mess, not unexpected though. I guess the kid stole some cigarettes, but bottom line is, he was an unarmed kid who should not be dead.

Riots will be awesome for their ratings.

I love after going out of his way to point out he smelled Marijuana & how "Unruly & Moblike" the crowd was he got caught in the tear gas.
