Ike Turner Bill Cosby I would also state Woody Allen Ike Turner got to work with Gorillaz late in his life so not really. Also the only people in Hollywood that hate Woody Allen are Mia Farrow and two of her kids. Her other kid defends Woody. Ironically, Farrow defends Roman Polanski.

Just goes to show, then, just how shady and unethical many actors are. With all the great directors in Hollywood, why would you ever consider working for such a shit-stain of a human being? I don't know how many times I have to say this until you will finally listen: People like Roman Polanski as a director because he is able to direct movies very well. (Well-directed movies are often critically acclaimed and are profitable for all those involved in their creation.) Is that so hard to understand? Yes. Because separating the art from the artist as a viewer is one thing. I can see that point of view, even if I don't totally agree with it. But watching a Polanski movie is not the same as working with him on a one-to-one basis for months on end.

Benedict Arnold. You can't even mention him without people saying, "Yeah but he turned on America though." Hell, Gorilla Monsoon even used his name to describe Paul Orndorff after Orndorff turned on Hogan. That's how tarnished Benedict Arnold is. So tarnished most UK people have no idea who he is.

I first learned about him from the Brady Bunch episode that Peter played Benedict Arnold in a play and everyone was an asshole to him for playing a traitor.

I'm sorry, but I can't look at John Wilkes Booth in the same light any more. I don't care if his father was Junius Booth or his brother was Edwin Booth or how many great performances he gave. To me he's still the dude who shot Lincoln. Some wounds never heal. Booth for the American Theater Hall of Fame!!!11!

Lets see, choosing someone who didn't commit, or is accused of committing crimes. Choosing someone who isn't dead, or has been dead for years, and years. Choosing someone only because their recent work just simply wasn't very good, and thats the main reason for the backlash against them.
Well that makes this easy...
Its George Lucas.

Lena Dunham. Just a disgusting person to me. I never saw the appeal before some of the things she said, now I'm not sure if there ever was. In football, Aaron Hernandez would only have been picked up by the lowest of teams had he not been convicted.

I second Lena Dunham. She's a disgusting twit who has no right to say anything about Bill Cosby or about anyone else. When I saw she said something about him I was like, "He's a rapist, but you're a juvenile child molester! You two probably bowled together!"

Same with Woody Allen, I would never shake the man's hand but I can honestly say he has a long list of films I enjoy. Also R. Kelly, John Lennon, Miles Davis, Chris Brown, etc, all allegedly morally dubious individuals who I still believe create/have created good art. Different people are going to have differing personal standards on their ability to enjoy art from lousy people. You're not wrong, whether you choose to avoid their work or indulge in it anyway. The latter more often than not isn't meant to condone their actions.

Patrick Kane should be this, but instead he's being touted as the MVP of the league so far. If you're good at your job, you can win people back. If you're an athlete, as long as there isn't an actual ban on you, there will be a down on their luck team somewhere willing to take the risk, and if you play well, a better team comes along, then a better team, you can have a relatively long and healthy career. Same with entertainment, if you're good enough, enough people will look past what you did so you can keep making money and try comebacks. The only ones that stay untouchable are ones who can't do what people like them for anymore. Cosby's old, he won't have time to mount a comeback, OJ was retired, plus he just got weirder and weirder, Hogan might be done because, well, where's he going to go that will give him a chance to be "redeemed"?
