If Jackson was guilty, why haven't there been more cases? Why were there only two? If he was a molester, more people would come forward after his death. ... how the hell did this turn into a thread about describing Jacko's todger?
Because some of us are tired of a dead man still being accused of something he was proven not to have done.

If Jackson was guilty, why haven't there been more cases? Why were there only two? If he was a molester, more people would come forward after his death. Because some of us are tired of a dead man still being accused of something he was proven not to have done. [/p][/quote] You believe the one acquittal means innocence and the other people believe the one payout means guilt. As I said I doubt anyone will change anyone's mind, but if all it takes is more people coming forward I give you, Wade Robson. A kid who was a character witness on Jackson's behalf during his earlier trials. He has since said that once he became a father he had to tell the truth, that Jackson DID molest kids including himself. I give to you Anthony Pellicano, private investigator for the stars, whom Jackson was referred to from Liz Taylor. He was nicknamed the Sin Eater for killing bad press. What we do know is that he worked for Jackson. We do know he quit working for Jackson and when the FBI raided him for his unethical practices they took lots of files pertaining to business he had with Micheal. Now comes the ugly part. Either you think Pellicano is taking people down with him or you believe him that he was hired to pay off victims for Jackson and quit when he found out what it was for but kept silent as it was his job. I give to you Jimmy Safechuck. I'd like to give you the "20 to 30" names Pellicano says are in those files but the FBI has them sealed still. If you think just because a person can go a decade without getting caught they must be innocent I give you the Catholic church scandals. The Boy Scouts of America has been found to have covered over a thousand pedophiles and hebephiles since at least the seventies. Add to all that the fact that male rape is the rarest reported and male on male hebephiles are very rarily reported especially in the eighties early nineties. Hell to this day many people believe it isn't rape if the man orgasms. He preyed on or "hung out" with if you prefer prepubescent boys. Boys that age are sexual beings. They are full of hormones and bad information. It's a very confusing age and hard to know the causes of your desires. A boner to a twelve year old boy can be awesome, scary, humiliating, and confusing all at the same time. Plus you had the huge stigma of homosexuality that was a bane to young boys in those eras. If you got an erection from a man and admitted to it you were a F****T. Jackson himself has admitted to thinking the young boy is the perfect form. His wife admitted he had to dress like a young boy or Peter Pan to have sex. When you consider his father's physical abuse and his mother's hand wringing "pray the gay away" mental/emotional abuse it does make sense that a boy with homosexual desires would become stunted at that age. He was never allowed to explore his love of teenage boys when he first became attracted to them so they were always the forbidden fruit for him. I mean we can use his bad upbringing as excuses for his other eccentricities but when we try to tie them to his sexuality it becomes an off limits area? When people first questioned his mother about his not having a girlfriend and asked if he was gay she said it was impossible because he was Christian. That statement should speak volumes for how he was taught to deal with his sexuality. His handlers tried to shove him into Brooke Shields to give him the manly front, but nothing took. Until allegations came out. Then all of a sudden the guy who just wasn't attracted to women marries a woman. So you see maybe there is a reason some people have their doubts. Maybe it isn't just that they are uninformed. Some of us see a different story then you people who think everything was benevolent. In the end it doesn't matter I guess, I doubt these facts will change the defenders minds and I doubt that another sycophant testifying to his misunderstood genius will convince those of us who think he was a sick f***. What I do know in relation to this topic is that for many people his image is tarnished.

Ian Watkins. Phenomenal musician and I still listen to The Lostprophets but a piece of shit human being who very well could die in prison (He's got 27 years left I believe)
And OP, Mel Gibson is accepted in Hollywood again and was recently praised for his performance in The Expendables 3. He's doing about one movie a year and I assume he is getting quite a bit of money for them. He's been a working actor as of 2010.

Between the HuffPost Live interview and his album doing poorly enough he tried to guilt the all of African America, I think we might be ready to say good riddance to R. Kelly.
Also, I don't know if you could call him a celebrity, but Jared Fogle is certainly done for.

Joe Paterno was the shining beacon of honor, integrity and how to run a football program for the betterment of both the kids and the team. They actually still believe that in Pennsylvania. That cult mentality, I tell ya. No we dont. Just state college residents

A year ago I'd say Tom Brady. Chris Mortinson leaked what was proven to be false information (11 of 12 footballs that were under inflated when they actually weren't), yet it was never corrected and lingered on ESPN and led off the world news. The court of public opinion utterly demonized him and he was declared guilty before an independent investigation could be finalized, and when the Wells investigation was proven to not be independent at all and that the handling was shoddy at best, it didn't matter because the commissioner, the league, and ESPN had already determined he'd be guilty, direct evidence be damned.
Now that the "case" was laughed out of court he's gradually regaining his status as one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Has anybody said Aaron Burr yet? Well if we're gonna go this route, at one point John Wilkes Booth was one of the most popular stage actors in the United States. I doubt he would've been offered many more parts after the "incident".

Because some of us are tired of a dead man still being accused of something he was proven not to have done. What in the world are you talking about? Michael is on record numerous times in interviews, private conversations, and leaked recordings that he wasn't a homosexual and was always uncomfortable when one approached him. Madonna attempted to take him to a strip club and he refused to go, because he didn't want to see me dressed up in drag either. And he dressed up during sexual activity with his wife? So what? That's their business and plenty of couples roleplay during sexual encounters, big deal, doesn't mean anything sinister was behind it. Michael has stated numerous times that Peter Pan is the perfect representation of childhood freedom and magic. There's absolutely nothing sinister, creepy, or perverted behind that mindset. He was physically and verbally abused by his father, because of that, I do believe it stunted him and didn't fully manifest itself until he got older. One of the main reasons why I don't believe he was a pedophile because he was abused himself. I refuse to believe he would subject any child to the same pain and suffering that he endured, which is why I don't see him bringing himself to harm any child or anyone. And a child molester will attempt to violate their own children, nieces, nephews, and he had plenty of them to molest too. I truly believe with my heart, soul, and mind that Michael just found more comfort in being around children because they didn't want anything from him and they treated him like he was one of them.

Kevin Clash makes me feel bad, because he got caught having an actual relationship. Like, a mutual, being happy together relationship. If the kid had been 2 years older, there wouldn't be an issue. (I'm not saying dating minors is ok, but I think it's unfair to lump him in with other celebrity perverts.)

Jimmy Snuka now more than ever. Is he? I've gotten the feeling that if he's acquitted mostly everybody is just willing to forget and move on, and he'll be on RAW soon enough dancing with Team BAD. Of course if he's found guilty I fully expect him to get the Benoit treatment.

Wrestling, for better or worse, isn't like other industries where all it takes is an accusation or even a trial to bring everything crashing down. Ask Heath Slater (though in his case, it helps that his accuser was conclusively proven a liar).

That's possible, but what he's accused of doing, along with the number of accusers, should be enough that nobody will work with him. If studios can't get people to work with him, he's done. Christian XXX has had a hard time getting some work all for totally legal, understandable and financially prudent decisions earlier in his career. If that's happening to him and nobody actually got hurt, then Deen is done.

Patrick Kane should be this, but instead he's being touted as the MVP of the league so far.
