I cant be the only one who thinks EC3 is overrated, can I? He is good, and looks like a star in TNA because the rest of the roster is pretty awful, but if he was ever to go back to WWE (with the same gimmick etc) he would be no better than a dozen guys already on the roster. He stands out on the mic in TNA because no one else there can really cut a promo, but he really isn't any different to the likes of the Miz etc. He isn't awful in the ring but is not great either (I can really only think of one good match from him in TNA, against Spud). There are also times when he really comes across as a guy playing a wrestler I like him, but he really isn't close to being 'the best thing in wrestling' in my opinion (hes the best thing in TNA though) He's really just a breath of fresh air compared to what TNA has and the fact that he brought himself up from "nothing" and has a superstar look works for him. He's good in his role but if this was WWE he'd be a good hand in the midcard like The Miz is now & there is nothing wrong with that. I like him too and in TNA he at least carries himself like a star compared to a lot of the guys around there. TNA couldn't really go wrong with her or Bram at the moment if they wanted a "change of pace" in terms of a champion.

I think EC3 would do well in the WWE. Vince McMahon loves evil rich guy characters and EC3 is exactly on how Ted DiBiase Jr. should of been.

It's amazing how protected EC3 has been in the same way it was amazing how well The Shield was protected for their entire tenure.
Like as though Vince/Dixie wanted some input and the Booker in question just shouted "NO!" and slapped their hand like a child trying to steal sweets.

The fact that The Shield is still protected very well as singles stars either means as you said the booker told Vince no on his input or Vince is crazy enough to see how good each one of them are.

The sad part about EC3 is that he wins the belt and only days later PWI strips TNA of World title status. You know they wouldn't do that to Kurt Angle, haha. EC3 would be a problematic guy going back to WWE since he wouldn't be this particular gimmick and as such I don't think he would have much ability to generate heat. technically, he has had it around a month... Also I'm ignoring PWI. They still recognise ROH, which has barely any international audience or touring. TNA is huge here, and sells out full arenas every year

It's not like TNA would just stop calling their title a World Title "because PWI said so". And it's not like PWI is going to send TNA a "cease and desist" to make them stop calling it a world title.
