Nothing. But were talking about Nikki Bella here.  Huhuhu. Funny. Still the best in the division. Vastly underrated by everyone on here. I've seen some of her recent matches. She's still not very good. No distinct ring psychology, saw her sell a neckbreaker by grabbing her back, no effective interaction with the crowd, etc. There's one thing she knows how to do and it's offensive spots. What does that say about the division if she's allegedly the best they have to offer? Not much. |

Because I'm starting to get the vibes that they're going to have her surpass AJ's record with a 300+ day reign to get her out of the history books now that she's gone. You say that like it's a bad thing. |

Sure she is a nice person and looks great but she is still poor and yet she is the champion. Says it all when you can have something as wonderful as Banks/Lynch and then produce that. Trips wants to promote the women but its clear that Vince could care less.

What's wrong with a talented worker breaking a record held by someone who's not in the company anymore? As a heel, yes she is good. As a face, she is atrocious. Her move set is designed for a heel and so is her gimmick. Until she goes back, I consider her useless. |

She's got a stranglehold on that belt...lol. I never will understand the Bella's pushes aside from being the significant other of two top stars. Did she even get a reaction from the crowd last night? Apathy best defines crowd reaction to either of them 99% of the time. When I heard Naomi was in the match I pretty much guessed who was winning. Both of those Funkadactyl chicks are going nowhere. Both have gone about as far as they're going to go in that company.
As for Bella...they're probably waiting for an NXT chick to take the belt off her.

Eh, WWE has been very complimentary of AJ since she's left. And it really doesn't matter who holds the title. The division sucks because WWE doesn't really care about it, not because of who's champion. I think anyone who believes that NXT call-ups will make a significant difference is kidding themselves, too. So the NXT 4 are kidding themselves. I agree. Nikki probably isn't getting that far. She's the third wheel in a Naomi/Paige feud. I think she's gonna drop it on a larger stage. |

nikki's keeping the belt warm for charlotte i think. there's no one right now in the division that has been built up to look like any sort of serious threat there to nikki. paige is pretty much spinning her wheels at this point and naomi's push has been "oh well we had this set up for AJ but she's gone now. you're a diva right? ok you can have this then. do you know how to skip? no? ok then don't we'll changing the script." <AJ (crossed out) Naomi skips (crossed out) walks to the ring with Tamina>

It's pointlessly petty enough that I could easily see WWE doing it. But on the other hand they don't seem to have any ill-will towards AJ, so who knows. This. Folks act like they treated her like some sort of pariah whilst she was in the company, but face facts, she was legit one of the biggest divas(impact wise, she was tiny physically) for years, was in Main Event angles alongside Bryan & Punk and dominated the division for absolutely ages. Face facts folks, she was the Triple H of the Divas division. I'm not a massive fan of hers, but I can acknowledge that she had a massive impact, and probably kickstarted the resurgence of the division that's brewing in NXT at the moment. It's toned down now, but the continual martyrdom of AJ fans whilst she was at her biggest was legit one of my least favourite things ever on this board, and caused me to abandon the WWE section for a while. Folks acting like she was some scrappy under-dog who was held down by "the man" whilst she squashed everyone in the division, buried them on the mic and had the longest divas title reign ever was maddening. But hey, as long as they can have their "alternative" diva who WWE obviously doesn't want them to like instead of the Bellas, they're happy right? Sticking it to the man and shit. Well, shit. That came off as a bit more rant-y than I expected. Still, my point stands, folks need to quit acting like AJ was some oppressed party that never got a chance. She got THE chance, and she ran with it, and proved that she was the best in-ring and on the mic at the time. Not at acting though, oy vey. Anyway, Nikki's a good wrestler. Compare how she was a couple of years ago, she's gone from terrible to passable mid-card level wrestling. And that's saying something. And I have a massive weakness for the whole jock-bully vibe she's got going on. Hot-damn. |

I didn't even want AJ's title reign to be that long, so the same applies to Nikki.
I just want great divas matches, and so far neither AJ, Paige, nor Nikki have been capable of consistently having them while holding the title. And in the current main roster, I don't think anyone can.
Despite the NXT 4 being pretty dang great (but be forewarned, what happened to Paige can EASILY happen to them, though Banks has the highest chance of dodging that fate), the only call up that will save the divas is Triple H and Steph taking over RAW.
