See? And this is why people were saying in the spoilers it was stupid for them to make a storyline out of it, because now they just came within somebody going to the grocery store or being distracted watching something on Youtube of having an Olympic gold medalist on their payroll die. I had an issue with it mainly because they wanted to imply EC3 gave Angle the tumor. Now, Angle almost died from this. And... he may even have complications still after all this. Corrective surgery doesn't always work. They have already butchered EC3 with the Dixie nonsense, and they've already butchered the upcoming episodes due to the Herndandez crap, so I hope they edit out that scene. It already aired and it was actually EY.

No, no, no. Dixie can be blamed for a lot of shit but Kurt Angle having a goddamned death wish is not one of them. She doesn't have to force him to anything, he shows and does what he wants because Dixie cannot stop him. This is on Angle and has been since his drugged out shell of a man self got booted from WWE in 2006 for not taking his health seriously. The "rumor" (I mean, let's be real, pretty much everyone but Angle has confirmed it at this point) was that Angle was let go because Vince didn't want him to die under contract. Not get seriously hurt, DIE. Think about that. Vince is the same guy that's known to give his top guys speeches to get them to come back on the road a bit earlier than they probably should if there are literally no other options available. You don't just get rid of a guy who was as fantastic as Kurt Angle unless there are some serious implications. Angle was in such bad shape that even Vince was like, "ok, no way you can wrestle on our shows in this condition." Now, to his credit, Angle's lasted much longer than most people gave him when he first left but it's starting to catch up to him now. Angle's damn near superhuman but the body can only take so much. Kurt is like that kid or significant other who if they don't get what they want from one thing they will go somewhere else to find it. So in this situation Kurt wants to wrestle injured. Vince says "No chance in hell" so Kurt is like "okay i will go somewhere else where it doesn't matter if i am injured"

Honestly, even if the doctor tells him not to step back in the ring over this, he'll probably just find a doctor that'll tell him different.

And I think Vince knew about Kurt's drug abuse (mainly to painkillers). Adding Kurt's drug abuse with his incessant need to be in the ring made it clear to Vince that Kurt was a liability waiting to happen. And here we are, at the sum of it all.

People are giving Angle and his health to much of a hard time. Angle left the WWE in 06 which was 9 years ago. If Angle was "that close" of being dead or that un healthy. He wouldn't have had for the most part up until the last 3 years of a healthy run. Angle had a major knee surgery last year and now this neck problem. Yeah he getting older as well and I do agree now he should stop it.
The thing about Angle is that until his knee went out last year he still was going at a high level. Match layout aside he shown YEAH he can still wrestle better than a lot of guys. The fact is Angle health for most of his TNA run as been greatly over reacted and not been nearly as bad people make it sound. Angle has four years straight of great matches and health. 09 he took time off in April and came back kind of questionable against Jarrett. Was fine in 2010 to 2013 for most of it was fine.

The thing with Angle tho is you want him to go out looking good and not broken down. Shawn Michaels went out the way he wanted to and could still go today. I wouldn't say his health is as bad as people claimed because that's where the pills come into play. I would rather him sit out and if he feels he need one more match to go out then so be it but it shouldn't be anytime soon.

Kurt Angle's neck saw Muta's knees and said "I'll show that bone on bone bastard!"

Remember that even today the medical services for the wrestlers in the wwe suck for the most part, like that Chicago wrestler with a near fatal staph infection, I don't think that back in 2006, Kurt was getting the help he needed from the wwe doctors.
