because sometimes all you want is to feel super inadequate as a musician.

It's been a while since I've posted a metal contribution. Let's get the thread shredding, thrashing, and shrieking again!

Okay I'm going for a deep cut on this one.
This is a song from Mesuggah's debut album which didn't have their distinctive sound, in fact it sounds like a progressive thrash metal album.

Ah...the early days of me getting into extreme metal. Downloaded this off myspace many years ago...Haven't heard any of the tracks from this one man black metal project, but this is good shit.

The acoustic intro and the song subject matter remind me of the first cold gusts of winter cutting through you like a knife. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy since Winter is my favorite season. That and Gorguts is just an awesome band. Considered Dead is one of those albums for me that I can put on at any time and never tire of it. Just a masterpiece of Death Metal.

also, a bit of promotion for a friend of mine's band. my friend Darren plays bass and does lead vocals, his brother Dan plays drums and his friend Justin is on guitars. highly recommended if you like the more crazy/brutal side of Tech Death like Origin or Wormed mixed with some progressive elements.

Two fairly obscure Death Metal acts for you, first is Baphomet who wouls later change their name to Banished for their second album due to another band claiming the Baphomet name, the other Demilich is probably one of the more unique Death Metal acts out their and their music really needs to be heard to be believed.

To all the metalheads in this thread. What metal concept album(s) would you like to see made into a cinematic feature? I'd have to say King Diamond's "Them", "Conspiracy", "Abigail", and "House of God" would make excellent horror films. W.A.S.P.'s "The Crimson Idol", Iced Earth's "Night of the Stormrider", Opeth's "Still Life", and Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime" would truly be an amazing sight to see on the big screen. Seeing the story told via the lyrics come to life is a dream of mine.
How about you guys?
