But Johnny didn't do anything. He partied and had fun and spread on social media because who he is. But he didn't get arrested. He didn't hit a woman. He didn't do anything most guys in the NFL do. He partied because he's a young 22 millionaire. The Browns just don't want him to succeed. He has alcohol problems....the last thing you do is freaking party. Oh and he tried to hide it so obviously he knew he was doing something wrong.

Speaking of Dumbass day NFL suspended free agent S LaRon Landry indefinitely. Okay, that's some real bullshit. I don't feel particularly bad for his dumb ass, but he isn't under contract to any team so what business does the NFL have policing his behavior?

Appearing on Sirius XM NFL Radio, ESPN's Adam Schefter said "momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip Kelly return to Philadelphia."
Schefter added that the two sides are "sick of each other."

The Broncos announced Peyton Manning (foot) will miss "at least" the next two weeks.

Sounds PED related and since he isn't retired he'd still be in the system and subject to testing.

The Ravens claimed QB Jimmy Clausen off waivers.
Boy, can you feel the excitement in that signing!

It will always shock me that getting shot in the head can be describe as "not life threatening". I get why, it just seems wrong.
Also, with Manning out for a few weeks, the Brockos are apparently looking to Christian Ponder for relief.

I think I know why the Ravens are doing so poorly this year - they seem to think that a winning strategy is to collect rejects from last year's completely incompetent Bears team.

I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that Ravens/Browns on Monday might be one of the poorest rated MNFs in history.

I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that Ravens/Browns on Monday might be one of the poorest rated MNFs in history. And it'll STILL beat RAW by a wide margin. As for Manziel, my main problem with him is the fact that he's taken adversity so poorly because, let's face it, he was a pampered, entitled snot growing up all the way to when he went to Texas A&M where ESPN christened him the next big thing as he won a Heisman during a lean year (they were debating between rookie quarterbacks and defensive players, the two categories up until then they never gave the award to) and had a solid half of performance against Duke in a bowl game. In his mind, he's the #1 pick and he's gonna be on all the magazines and talk shows, and when the draft comes, he gets a dose of reality, where instead of going to a "sexy" team, he's sent to Cleveland, where they have been a joke for decades and in desperate need of any quality quarterback. Instead of using this as an opportunity to grow up, make a name for yourself, and eventually get the chance to go to one of those "sexy" teams in warm places if you felt like it, he's been erratic and discombobulated with his antics. People may wish to see more Joe Namaths, but if you're an NFL team with no recent success, you want a guy who will eat, sleep, and breathe his job as opposed to a guy who's likely going to visiting the afterhours club at 3 AM on a weeknight. Does he have talent? Yeah, but talent don't mean a damn thing if you can't be relied on, but this is the NFL, where if you have a modicum of skill, people will forgive you time and time again. Plus, and while I don't support the guy Manziel punched for invading his piracy, but he did punch a dude who wanted to show support for him. I can only imagine what he would've done if that guy had slapped him or something.

We are really sorry about tonight's matchup." Gruden: "Yes we are, but stay tuned because we've got some really good commercials coming up."

Exciting times for us UK fans.
Next years games in London are announced in a few hours. Time for us to get excited and salivate at the prospect of some top class NFL action coming from across the Atlantic...only for Goodell to send us the absolute dregs of the National Football League.

Manziel, while he had a couple of great college years, was never gonna be all world in the pros I feel; at least not in the long haul.
He would've been 'solved' like Kaepernick, RGIII, the Wildcat formation et al were/have been inside of one year. Defensive coordinators are too good at what they do for your more gimmicky qbs/offenses that rely almost solely on athleticism.

You basically tore the heart from Jacksonville, as you'll get their home game against Indianapolis. Yeah... the Colts are finally going to London. Can't say I'm enthusiastic.

I'm surprised with the Jets/Dolphins this year, and Colts/Jags next year that we are getting teams willing to give up divisional games now. Cant say I'm too ecstatic about potentially having a double dose of the Redskins next year either. I don't think I'll be buying tickets for these games and spend it on Gamepass instead
