Actual number will be released wednesday morning and it's looking to be around 2.07-2.13 final rating. (Reddit/F4W)
EDIT: RAW viewership is in, and it's roughly 200k total viewers more than last week:
Hour 1: 3,309,000 Hour 2: 3,190,000 Hour 3: 3,005,000
Avg.: 3,168,000
Rating should be 2.2
Sorry for the misguidance

I've been expecting the ratings to come in, and was kinda anticipating if they would be around the 2.16 mark of last week's show. Didn't expect it to be that far south.

Try 26 within a few years Would be funny if Cena came back, ratings continued going down, then next RAW when people know he's back...they continue going down again. Which isn't unrealistic. Vince: "you mean...one person can't fix ratings? IMPOSSIBLE!"

If the WWE churning out the same old *bleep* is the problem, I'm not sure wheeling out Staley McStalington the stalest piece of whitebread known to man will help. The problem is they're going to try and fix this in the way that caused all their problems to begin with, by bringing him back and throwing money at veteran talent (Jericho, RVD, The Hardyz if they're available, Trish, Lita) who won't work house shows so the Monday Night Raw after the WWE hit panic stations will resemble the horrendous first episode of TNA Impact on Monday, veteran after veteran in meaningless segments, going over guys who're there for the long haul because that's far easier than solving any of the real problems the company has. The company will crow, pat themselves on the back about a job well done, and in 3 weeks time they'll all but be screaming at the fans because that booking band-aid stopped working and they've added a bunch of expensive guys to the roster.

This excites me. Shit is about to get shaken up. The ratings have been in a free fall for a year now. I don't share your enthusiasm. I am 100% positive at this point Vince would rather fail his way, and not listen to the fans, than succeed someone else's way, while listening to them.

Yeah after the last record setting low or whatever they kept everything as formulaic as usual.

Vince: "you mean...one person can't fix ratings? IMPOSSIBLE!" Historically speaking, they do tend to jump back up when he's around, but the ratings don't seem to be a result of his being gone alone by any means but part of a bigger problem, so I doubt it'd give them the bump they would want.

What if they push the young talent and the ratings are still in the dumper? I don't know if there's one answer. The new generation era turned a lot of fans off.

Burn, baby, burn. The schadenfreude I get from news like this is so strong. It's so easy to listen to fan reaction and go from there. But nope, gotta go with teacher's pets instead and then wonder why they aren't being received as well as the people the fans have a connection with.
