Carolina is a 5.5 point favorite at the moment. So I will say....
Carolina - 38 Denver - 21

What would the storyline/narrative be for SB50?
SB49 had Deflategate. SB48 was about Peyton vs. Sherman and the Legion of Boom. SB47 was about Jim vs. John, as well as Ray Lewis's Last Ride. SB44 was about the Saints' redemption after Hurricane Katrina. SB42 was about the Pats chasing perfection and, of course, Spygate. SB40 was about The Bus's Last Ride.
SB50 would be about Peyton's Last Rodeo.

I put money on Carolina winning the Superbowl before the season started (also bet on Pittsburgh but they let me down) so I'll obviously be cheering on the Panthers.
But part of is horrified to think that Ted Ginn could earn a ring as a No.1 receiver.

In cases where I'm a neutral supporter, I always lean towards the possible first time winner. Sorry Broncos fans.

Denver is playing to superstition and wearing their whites instead of the orange unis.

Denver is playing to superstition and wearing their whites instead of the orange unis. Stuff like this tells me that they aren't as confident in beating Carolina than they were against New England so they going for luck as well.

Denver is playing to superstition and wearing their whites instead of the orange unis. No, you wear the whites because you always view the whites as the road team and "road teams" as the underdog, and Denver definitely believes the public views them as that.

On one hand, the Broncos are 0-5 when they wear orange, and all of the losses were blowouts. On the other hand, they're also 1-1 in whites. Finally, they're 1-0 in blues. As for the Panthers, they lost SB38 wearing whites.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I have a genuine wish deep down inside that anyone who posts or comments to anyone "there is no way" and then the Broncos actually do it (and numerous teams that have made said comments look foolish in the past), those people would realize not to ever open their mouths again.
It is one of my biggest pet peeve in sports. People throw their "expert"' weight around by talking in conventional terms and then excuse themselves for being wrong once they're wrong. It's ok to be wrong. But "muscle-ing up" with big words and then playing the "I knew it all along" and "told ya" cards ought to have the caveat of "never open your mouth again when you're wrong."
Love opinions. But I hate the "they're god awful" approaches to things like this. Same people, I guarantee you, were burying the Broncos by Week 8 of the season. They keep winning and the same ones keep mouthing.
No one specifically jumping to mind, that needs to be said. It just seems like a general cultural bully and gang-up mentality. And when all those fools are wrong with their bold flexing comments, they use each other to fall back on. Again, I'm just speaking in general and not calling out a specific poster.

I don't know of anyone here who has made that opinion of there being no way Denver wins so I don't know who you are talking about. I've only heard one person say there is no way Carolina beats Denver and we have basically already called that guy out. I think every Panthers fan here has said that they want Carolina to win, but they could see Denver getting it done.

Don't really care much for either team but Carolina is going to make Peyton and the Denver O look like amateur hour. Panthers in a blowout This was pretty much what I was going to post so I'll just quote it.

BTW....Carolina will be wearing the black jerseys instead of the Carolina Blue ones. Wish they chose those blue ones.

I want the Panthers to win so that way America would have to actually acknowledge North Carolina's existence for once.

Very obvious that it all is going to depend on the Denver pass rush. They get to Cam and the Broncos should have the game in the bag. It they don't consistently Panthers should be able to win. All I know is that I just don't see Denver scoring more than 20 points. Panthers defense is better than the Patriots defense and they'll be in a natural crowd instead of at home, simple as that.

Teams are not allowed to wear alternate uniforms in the playoffs. Therefore, Denver only had the option of orange or white. While Carolina only had the option of black after Denver's decision, they couldn't wear their Carolina Blue alternate.
