Spidey Daily Strip: Ouch, apparently Lang does'nt even know Peter's FULL name. Peter pretty much tells him his brain is the size of an ant and gives him his first name before they disembark from the sub-way en route to where Jameson lives. Batman: {Spoiler}Gotham Girl shaves her head and spends most of the issue beating up criminals and talking to herself, trying to cope with the loss of her brother and her lingering psychotic breakdown caused by the Pyscho Pirate. Bruce reveals his identity to her and tells her about his mother, she eventually calms down. The final scene sets up the next two storylines, with Amanda Waller telling Bruce that Doctor Strange traded Psycho Pirate to Bane in exchange for a supply of Venom. I assume the venom will be essential to the Monster Men event coming up next. The Bane storyline begins next month Superman: {Spoiler}Supes trashes Eradicator and liberates Krypto. The souls of Krypton break free also and Superman wishes them well as they head out into the stars. His actions are seen worldwide and he is honoured with the key to the city. Lois remarks that this is "one genie that won't be going back in the bottle" and Jon assures her it's ok because Supes is for everyone. Later, Clark formally introduces Jon to Diana and Bruce as Superboy (yeah, that's gonna piss off the Conner contingent). Bruce is annoyed Clark busted up his lunar Batcave too

Aquaman#6 {Spoiler}Bit of a weak ending to The Drowning storyline. Aquaman gets to beat up Superman a little, sulks that he's not seen on the same level as the trinity or the JL, and then calls off an Atlantean attack force and goes home. Black Manta in the meantime takes control of the organisation that broke him out by killing their leader

The Spider-Man Unlimited Game also has a special seven-mission event for Annie May Parker which continues her story from the original RYV mini-series. Her parents have given her permission to attend school in the Unlimited Spidey's dimension, but she falls prey to an attack from Mysterio who conjures up her nightmares of Venom from the original RYV story to try to break her spirit. Annie defeats Mysterio and his henchmen and announces she'll attend school as soon as she gets more lunch money

Batman, Superman and Aquaman were all fun this week. So far, I've also read Nightwing, Green Arrow and Supergirl. Green Arrow {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I don't care about Emiko or Shado. I'm reading Green Arrow for Green Arrow and Black Canary. Supergirl {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I don't care about ultra bad ass coolest ever Cat Grant. Also, the art was a major step down from the Rebirth issue. Nightwing {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Dick mentions Romani folklore, seemingly restoring the Romani heritage Devin Grayson gave him years ago. Cool, I guess, it doesn't seem to affect him one way or the other.

Found this while digging thru a stack of comics. IIRC grabbed it for a quarter at an antique mall in town.

Almost exactly a year ago, OMEGA MEN was cancelled at issue #7 due to low sales. It was saved by fan reaction and revived by DC about a week later. This week its trade paperback collection hit the NY Times best selling list - #4 on the paperback graphic list.

So the preview for Gwenpoole revealed something pretty major about Miles {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}He no longer remembers the Ultimate Universe. Although Gwen says that him, his friends, family and "other important characters" made it over from the events of Secret Wars. She doesn't go into details over who else made it over though, which I assume will be left up to Bendis Ryan Stegman is back with his preview art for Renew Your Vows.

Ultimate Marvel really needed to be put to a rest and this is the best way to do that, sparing what they could of the Ultimate Spidey world (which was always the best part of Ultimate Marvel).
Everyone closest to Miles made the transition too (his dad, his mom who Molecule Man restored to life, Ganke) so it's not a......huge loss for readers. The main USM characters (Peter, MJ, Aunt May, Gwen) would be duplicates anyway, and I'm sure someone would muck that up in an effort to make some new character/threat/angle look cool.
....that said, it'd be cool to see Jessica (USM Spider-Woman, a Peter Parker clone) show up again as herself - especially since the next big Spidey even IS clone related...

Spidey Daily Strip: While we all know from ASM V1#10 that Jameson hates Spidey out of envy, Peter has his own ideas of why Jonah hates him, he's about to explain this to Scott until Ant-Man reaches the top of the penthouse first and interrupts Peter to gloat about it Superwoman#2 preview www.avclub.com/article/lana-lang-fights-face-tragedy-superwoman-2-exclusi-242375Fun Fact: Steel plays the bongos naked. Nice of Lex to remind people he's trying to save "Yo, I'm the real Superman". No self-assuring egotism there, nope[/sarcasm]

Well, anyone reading Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye? Gotta say, as someone who doesn't really get into the Transformers series aside from Transformers Prime, I gotta say that MTMTE is a pretty fun series.

I'm to the 4th one atm. Managed to reach the latest one, and the next one would be the end methinks before the series gets rebranded as Transformers: Lost Light. Gotta say, the series has had a solid run so far, though the middle part I felt a little lost in since it's a crossover with Robots in Disguise which I haven't read. In any case, MTMTE has quite a bit of funny moments, but it certainly knows where to hit when things get dark. Like seriously, for a series that's mostly about robots, it does a great job making violent moments look pretty damn violent.

Special alert. Here are the following subscription changes and cancellations for some Marvel series Well, all that hubbub about Nighthawk being cancelled (for a myriad of reasons) and its companion book is also being axed. Honestly surprised AoS was still around. Last I saw a sales lost that book was doing dismally. And I guess Carnage is a surprise, since Conway's moving to the Spidey book....

Honestly, the previous SHIELD comic before the AoS comic felt more like the show than that one.

While I dont doubt it being indicative of the trend across all retailers, that is a list specific to that website based on sales in about 7 specific comic shops. The Diamond lists are the ones worth reporting.
