Why even accuse h of holding back talent he signed? That's nonsense

He was crap. That was his main problem.

I dunno. Even on the indies I don't like his wrestling enough to get past his "caveman wearing a one piece bathing suit" look. That's why I didn't get into him at least

he didn't propose a stable featuring him, a girl named Gypsy and another guy named Servo

He was utterly average.
The guy just didn't impress compared to a bunch of other talents on the roster and unfortunately got lost in the shuffle. It's a shame, but there's not much that can really be done about it. Either a guy gets over or he doesn't, and this guy didn't.

As already stated in various ways, he just sucked and the audience wasn't feeling him.

Poor timing. That's in, just poor timing.
He's one of the absolute best in the world, and they had neither the time to commit to his character in order to develop it, nor the space to let his talents shine in one of the most over-abundant talent pools of any wrestling promotion's roster in history.
I have no doubt that he'll be back at some juncture, better than ever, and it will work tremendously for all parties involved.

Seeing people say Crowe sucked makes me sad. I loved his work on the indies. This was a case of there being so much talent in one place that some guys are, inevitably, not gonna be able to stand out. Sami happened to be one of them. Sucks that it went down that way but them's the breaks.

Sami happened to be one of them. Sucks that it went down that way but them's the breaks. I give him props for his weight loss if nothing else. I've never seen him outside of NXT but he came in with a massive buzz and what sounded like an exciting hacker gimmick. Then it took him like a year to debut, his ring work from what I saw was fine but nothing that stood out (to me), his charisma wasn't to my liking, his girlfriend is racist and then his valet turned out to be a nazi or something? Perhaps none of that is his fault but as someone who was being introduced to him I was severely underwhelmed. I wish him the best and maybe he'll come back to WWE win me over and whatever but yeah, didn't live up the hype to me.

between that rope-bounce headbutt thing he did, and the markings on his singlet that made it look like he shit himself, he was doomed.

Wrong gimmick for the performer too. I actually think Rose could do well with that gimmick. He was too much of a troll doll.

I can't really speak for his in-ring abilities as I haven't seen much to judge. But I will say his gimmick wasn't established that well, and that probably contributed to Crowe's floundering. Maybe a hacker gimmick was unfeasible on television, but I'm sure they could've done a bit more with it than they did.

Crowe has pretty damn solid in-ring abilities. If people can get behind Ambrose, they can get behind Crowe.
