This has been a good year for good finishes in NASCAR. Let's keep it up.

I would've laughed if Harvick and Edwards wrecked each other, and the third place guy goes by for the win.

I honestly like Harvick winning even though I support Larson and hope he starts getting some success soon.

I hope Renault changes their livery to have a lot more yellow, otherwise it's going to be a very annoying season with four nearly pure black cars with only small accents differing. They have gone more yellow. I do like that it's distinctive, but I'm not really a fan of it overall.

It's not bad and it will look great on track, but there's still something... missing. I don't know what it is, but compare it to some of the Jordan liveries from the past and there's just not a whole lot of fluidity to the design. I think the biggest thing is how much of an afterthought the Renault logos look.
Still, at least it's not just black.

Watching qualifying and having seen a bit more of the Renault, it's better than it looks in the pictures but it still needs tweaking a bit.
These new qualifying rules could prove interesting, but it seems that some of the teams don't actually understand the rules yet and are sending their cars out too late.

Ok, with qualifying (just about) done, I get what they were going for but it needs adjusting.
Some of the teams were struggling with getting laps in with the 90 second limit and it's just going to be worse on longer tracks. Qualifying was over with 3 minutes still to go, I'd scrap the 90 second eliminations for when we're down to maybe the final 5 cars.

This new qualifying system in F1 is a mess. I don't think I ever seen no cars on the track at the end of a session. I bet the fans and sponsors are pissed about it. A perfect example of how you can't fix something that isn't broken.

A little over two months before the racing season starts for me. Dad's car is pretty much all ready to go. Mine's pretty much all ready as well. But here was my greatest triumph last season.
Beating Chris Gall in the second round of the Big Money Race at the end of last year, basically ending his chance for the money.
And yes, that's Stan Bush's "Dare." I love that song.

Unsurprisingly, the new Formula 1 qualification system has been scrapped after one race. link

Hamilton got mugged at the start, we could have a good race on our hands.

Red Flag: Absolutely huge crash for Alonso running into the back of Gutierrez, but he's out the car and walking.

Alonso's car is scrap. But that's a good thing in a crash scenario like that, because that means Alonso himself isn't scrap.

Not a lot of the car left. That crash gets worse every time I see it.
Race restarts at 5 mins to the hour.

Wonder if Lewis has figured out how to switch that alarm off yet?
