Lita. She only had one match (X-8) and lost to Jazz.

Surprised Booker T wasn't mentioned. Forgive me if I screw up on him and the other guy I mention.
X8: Fights (and loses to) Edge over a Japanese shampoo commercial. XIX: Loses to Triple H in a World Heavyweight Championship match. XX: Only WrestleMania victory where he and RVD retain the World Tag Team Championship, only for the team to lose the belt the next night. 21: Pre-show Battle Royal, which he won, but since it was pre-show, doesn't count. 22: Loses to the Boogeyman. XXVII: Doesn't really do much other than get Stunned. XXVIII: Is on Team Teddy. His team loses. XXIX: Gets inducted into the Hall of Fame.
You know, Ron Simmons hasn't had that great of a run, if you think about it.
13: Loses the Chicago Street Fight 2000: Participates in the Hardcore match X-Seven: His WrestleMania highlight was beating Right to Censor. XX: Is the only guy that doesn't become a legal entrant in the sudden death match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Ziggler is 1-5 at Mania, and never had a singles match. Dolph...he's still one of the most popular people on the roster with crowds, has been for years Whoa, what?

Never heard the Nathan Jones story before. That's one of the funniest things I've heard all week, haha.

Goldust has had a pretty dodgy WM record as well... I think he may be at least 0-6 at this point.

You know, the battle royals of Wrestlemania mostly could be considered naff. Yeah the ones at WM2 and WM4 could be considered fairly big deals (and of course the WM17 one was a VERY big deal) but since like WM21 they've seemed to be a way to fill up the card and use the roster in an easy way, and in general the 'battle royal' is a good cheap way to garner interest any time there is one. And the majority of them were on the preshow, some aired live, but some you could only catch on the DVD extras menu.
Anyway, Mark Henry has been in 6 of those Wrestlemania battle royals total.

I remember because he was the first one to pull out the two-foot stepladder.

I personally find the Battle Royales usually suck (because let's face it it's a terrible match type that takes 10 minutes to get even remotely interesting) and devalue the prestige of being in a Mania match. If you have to scramble to fit everybody on the card that should be a sign you've not got enough people doing enough worthwhile stuff. The first Andre Memorial was alright as it got buildup, some good spots, and a brilliant finish, but the minute they announced a 2nd one killed it for me.

I still remember King Booker's reaction to the step ladder vividly, yet for some reason, it didn't materialize when I originally did the two lists. I'm still surprised that Faarooq wasn't tagged in at WrestleMania XX. For some reason, that still bugs the shit out of me, because that had to have been his last official match before they retired him.

Tito Santana. Hall of Famer. 2x IC Champ. 2x Tag Team Champ. 1-7 record at the first 8 Manias. And that one win came against what was basically a jobber. So Tito = the Glass Joe of WM? /Does that make Buddy Rose Gabby Jay? //Yay!

Sting: 0-1 Shawn Michaels: 6-11 Kurt Angle: 3-6 (counting a double loss at WM 16) What double loss? I seem to only remember him losing to Jericho. /My, my, a Benoit joke too. I'm such a hypocrite given the stale joke thread.

One more for you, Faarooq and Kama entered the Tag Team Battle Royale at Wrestlemania 14 which was for a tag title match at a later date. It was one where the rules state you're eliminated if your partner is. So Faarooq was eliminated after about 2 minutes when Kama was thrown over the top rope which happened while they were busy focusing on an instant replay of a random Kurrgan appearance (who wasn't in the match).

I remember reading that "Real American", which would later become the iconic theme music of Hulk Hogan, was initially recorded for that team.

I think we can all say Flair is an all-time great, right?
Well, out of the 5 matches he's had at WM he's lost 4 of them.
That's a shoddy record for one of the greatest of all time.
