Holy shit what a match. Just a slow burning, straight up old school heavyweight clash for the belt. Been a while since we've seen one of those. Ambrose can't work? Ambrose is sloppy? Ambrose is a spot monkey? Wheres that at though? MOTY so far?

I just kind of wish they had Triple H cheat to win instead of Ambrose being really dumb. Michael Cole wouldn't get off HHH's dick with how much praise he gave him as a "warrior" champ. Good match, but like so many others in WWE, the result dissapoints.

Great match but anticlimactic shit finish, it should have taken more than one pedigree to put away Ambrose.

Match was awesome but they just can't see that Ambrose is their number one face now. Guy is their '97 DDP and they have to pull the trigger to finally give him a world title reign.

Like... Yeah, finish aside since I was prepared for that, that match was still just plain dull.

I'm sure if taken on its own merits it's a really good match but seeing that finish a mile away just killed all excitement.

Ambrose did power, technical, high flying, brawling, submission, limb targeting, used the scenery, weapons (table), he hit every single area you could do in a match and he proved that he's truly "that dude" right now when it comes to being a workhorse. Sure, he can't do all of the flippy, mastery shit but as a worker that guy's just dope. His psychology in the match was amazing and even more so he looked like the bigger star compared to Triple H.
Damn that was dope. Only issue I had was the finish.

Good match, but like so many others in WWE, the result dissapoints. But they always do that with Triple H. Regardless if he's a face or heel, he's always the most badass, most intelligent, most talented, biggest star sports entertainment has ever had.

Cole was mentioning how HHH went up against and beat Austin, Rock, etc and that just makes you realize that Ambrose is on the cusp of being at that level. Pretty crazy.

While I was disappointed that Dean didn't win, the match itself was still really good. It was Ambrose's best singles match this far, in my opinion.

Ambrose's job was to make Triple H look legit so his match with Roman doesn't look so one-sided in Reigns' favor.
The problem is that the fans wished Roman and Dean were in the opposite situations.
And now Ambrose gets to 'look good in defeat' to Brock at Wrestlemania. The one guy on the roster who can pile up L's and not lose any of his momentum with the fans.

Finish aside I loved this match, helps probably I muted the tv to help with this headache. Ambrose proved he can look good along side a proven main eventer. Really wish they had called an audible with this and put the title on him

Good Match, Shitty Finish, will be about the consensus for it Shitty finish as in "A legitimately bad finish" or "The guy I like didn't win"? It's seemingly one and the same to many of you, so you may have to be specific.

Like I said in the show thread, it was a good match with a spot so horrible in that fakeout win that it completely killed the remaining few minutes because at that point any doubt as to the victor went out the window and all the drama in the match evaporated. I cannot remember the last time that has happened to me in a match. Honestly one of the most deflating things ever. Every time the WWE gets my interest and has the potential to win me back as a fan, so I pay to support it, to see what happens and put my money where my mouth is, I get played. The worst part is they f***ing know they suck, haha. Their strategy seems to be acknowledging it, but then doing nothing to change it, even though this was as perfect a free pass as they could have gotten.

Nothing out of this world to me, thought it was really pedestrian considering the two guys involved. Don't think I would remember it if someone was to ask me after Mania season which matches were the best during the season (the best match so far to me during Mania season has been Y2AJ vs New Day, without a shadow of a doubt) Plus I really didn't like the way they did the Deans foot under the ropes deal. Hated it infact. His feet weren't even that far under and there have been plenty of pins like that happen in a WWE ring. The table spot was anti climactic to me and Dean is forever left being the bridesmaid of the 3 Shield members despite him and Rollins both proving to be better investments in the future than Reigns in crowd connection and match quality, character etc.
