Aww, damn.
Could be one of the great cases of missed potential there's been, amongst a large pile of them. Good wrestler, incredibly versatile with his character work... Shame to see him go.

Crying shame he spent the past 2 years as Stardust. He was very entertaining.

I feel like he just needed to drop Stardust, and he'd start moving up the card again.

Tons of missed potential if this is legit. He's one of my favorite wrestlers in the world and his runs as "Dashing", "Undashing", IC Champion, and one half of the Brotherhood were all fantastic.

Makes sense with his dads passing still pretty recent. Maybe reevaluated his life and what not.

He had every tool you want. WWE managed to waste another one completely. Unreal.

I feel like he just needed to drop Stardust, and he'd start moving up the card again. In my opinion if the Rhodes Brothers vs. Authority storyline didn't stick, or the Dashing character, or the post-dashing character, there's really no reason at this point to think that any good work he did was gonna see a benefit.

We posted this like 30 seconds apart. Huge let down for the fans. He's only 30 so here's hoping he's taking time off to start a family and then return in a couple years from now fresh. And in the main event.
... And I know that sounds stupid for him to just return to WWE after Eden has kids, but obviously that's what his father/mentor did so I can't put it past Cody to do the opposite.

This better not be the last we see of Eden.

Good for him that he's leaving on his own terms.
That said, I never saw the massive upside in him that a lot of other people saw. He was a solid C/C+ in everything. Not great at anything. Not bad at anything. Just there.

I think it'll be interesting to see if he has booking qualms or if just being there was too much. He's said that Eden stopped him from quitting altogether last June.
Best of luck to him.

Not a bad time for it, honestly. He's still quite young and could pursue plenty of other avenues.

what's sundirt doing in the warehouse zone?
Great promise but the stardust gimmick killed whatever momentum he had post Rhodes-Scholars

Wow, that's surprising. That angie where he got fired should have been his entree in to the main event scene. But it just never happened.
