They could always steal from WWE and have Blampied as a Jack Tunney-style GM. It would actually be pretty cool to see and would de-emphasize the overused Authority character. It's honestly be the best option if they aren't going to distance themselves from that stuff.

It's honestly be the best option if they aren't going to distance themselves from that stuff. At this point it has to happen. I could understand Blampied's presence in the early episodes because he was a manager, much like how Pacitti was GM and generally didn't do much aside from backstage segments. But with how things went the past few months, they need to take a page from Smackdown and use a less is more strategy when it comes to authority figures. But I guess we'll see what happens when the next episode airs. I'm guessing a five minute Blampied promo interrupted by Prestige.

Yeah, if he came out occasionally and was involved in a big decision, I'd be happier with it because those guys aren't going to be taken away due to their popularity. Heck, it worked to sort of "cement" the promotion where it was. But it needs to morph itself because it might fall into the trap of just relying on the part timers and the gimmick tournaments and such. I only rant about WCPW because I want it to be better, just like how people rant about WWE because they want it to be better. Only difference is WCPW's more likely to lose crowd support because of its decisions than WWE is.

Just caught up with recent shows
Chain Reaction was an incredible show in terms of match quality and one of the best they've ever done
I'm going to single out Hendry v Kidd and Swords of Essex v SCC as the highlights, genuine classics. Doug Williams v Travis Banks, Women's title match, and south London street fight were great as well.
It's a stacked week for the promotion, Bulletproof card for tonight is looking like a banger, despite Cody Rhodes absence.
Prince Ameen v Grado - pre show match live on YouTube Rampage vs. Drake Adam Cole vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Travis Banks vs. Ricochet vs. Marty Scurll vs. El Ligero vs. BT Gunn vs. Doug Williams vs. Martin Kirby – Championship Showdown Lana Austin vs. Viper The Swords Of Essex (c) vs. Prospect vs. The Young Bucks vs. Matt Riddle & Liam Slater – WCPW Tag-Team Titles Drew Galloway (c) vs. Joe Coffey – WCPW Title
World Cup qualifiers also start tomorrow, we have the England qualifiers tomorrow and the Scottish prelims on Thursday (all live on Youtube)
Say what you like about the promotion but they are putting together some incredible shows at the moment, and more than delivering in terms of in ring product.

Their plan on how to deal with the whole "Drew could potentially take our title to America" thing.
If this leads to another GM turning heel, I will scream.

More to say "Drew's not doing a job on the way out"...

More to say "Drew's not doing a job on the way out"... If that's the case, that's their own goddamn fault for giving him the belt in the first place without a forward plan. And now as a result from all that, we have a heel stable that has no real motivation except "We'll beat you up but we don't want money for it because PRESTIGE!" Like...I shouldn't still be annoyed by that but the fact it's backfired on them makes me wonder about their approach to some stuff.

Just goes to show that going with an outsider instead of pushing a homegrown member of their roster was a huge mistake.
Babyface Joe Hendry was by far the best thing they had going, but they never once pulled the trigger on him and instead put the belt on Galloway and turned Joe heel.
Now, Galloway is gone and Hendry is basically a sailed ship.
Which, ironically enough, seems like something they'd rip into WWE for and release a "how they should have booked" video on.

I still have no idea why Galloway was brought into that cage match with Hendry and Connors when a good chunk of that rivalry was set up already and Connors taking out Galloway was a literal one week thing. The last minute bringing back of Connors to finish the feud felt like the cheapest thing ever too. If you had Galloway face Connors on the show afterwards, that would have made much more sense and you could have moved Hendry onto Primate or someone of that fashion.

What happened between Hendry and Lionheart in their most recent match?
I read something on twitter but lost it by the time I went back to read more on it.

Drew's No 1 for the Championship Rumble. ...Plumpy's turning heel, isn't he? F*** sake... I actually got a different vibe from the video. Drew comes off as cocky and heelish while Adam (I refuse to call him Plumpy) is trying to keep his belt in his company. Admittedly they seen to be sowing seeds of a screwjob, but I hope it's not the case. They done well with keeping Blampied neutral, so let's keep it that way.

I was only calling him Plumpy as a disparaging thing, that entire 'storyline' was dumb. I guess I can see that, I just don't see them being that smart considering their track record. I just keep expecting them to repeat the Pacitti storyline and then someone like Gabriel Kidd takes over from him or something.

So having seen the tweets of the end of the show... {Spoiler}Props for not having an easy screwjob and having Drew lose clean to Martin Kirby for the belt. Even though Kirby was another guy that had all the momentum who they wasted on a dumb angle (Hi Pacitti!), it seemed like it was a good underdog win so...Well done WCPW.

Sounds like el coke head del knife fight pulled out of No regret Wait. Wait. Wait. Are you meaning to tell me that ALBERTO EL PATRON, the man who has been known to be unreliable with bookings, was unreliable with a booking? ...I'm stunned. Absolutely stunned. (Also, they pretty much should have stopped booking him months ago after the OTHER stories came out about him pulling out on dates but hey, as long as they weren't doing it with them, I guess they were ok)
