"You should thank me" might be the most Bret Hartiest statement you can make.
(Kidding, I know that's not all he said, but he's an easy guy to poke fun at)

Bret should be one of the agents. He tells it exactly like it is and doesn't pull any punches with anything. You know he wouldn't be a yes man for Vince and could actually give the talent really good advice on structuring matches and story telling.

Again, Bret is 100% right on this. People take that injury for granted and give Rollins a pass because he is considered an elite worker, but that really could have killed Cena.

My god it was an accident...he didnt do it with malice intent. Seth has had how many matches now and has done just fine but this ass acts like he shot someone and is wreckless. Accidents happen and sorry Bret everyone can't be as perfect as you.

Bret didn't say he did it with malice intent. He essentially accused him of being sloppy. Accidents are caused by people, they don't just spring up out of thin air. That doesn't make the person who caused the accident evil.
And yes, sometimes it's pretty much impossible to identify the cause of an accident--a freak accident.
I am not familiar enough with this particular event to comment on whether or not Seth was actually sloppy, but I would place a certain amount of trust in Bret's judgement. He doesn't have much to gain from lying about what he saw based on his personal experience in the ring.
Seth has a lot more motive to lie/deny his fault in the whole episode.
That being said, Bret could be wrong and Seth could be correct. John Cena's probably not going to comment on it.

Bret's comments are like a game of Chinese whispers here, people quoting articles will use one line out of context and it'll get distorted into yet more evidence that Bret hates everything, no matter what he actually says or how he says it.

Bret's blunt and prickish, but right. But Seth is upset by it, so people are focusing on the tone of Bret's comments and on irrelevant factors like Bret being negative about WWE or HHH, rather than on this actual issue. And so Bret being right is ignored because feels > reals.
Seth's injured people, it was accidental yes, but so were Ryback's injuries. Doesn't mean Ryback wasn't sloppy, doesn't mean Seth couldn't have taken more care with Cena. Sting was a freak accident yes, but if you bust someone's face with a knee when you're not supposed to ACTUALLY hit them, then accident or not, you screwed up and went too stiff. Same as RVD injuring Jericho and HHH, same as Punk injuring Snitsky. Just because I like the guy doesn't mean I'm giving him a pass for injuring someone who I'm not a fan of. It's an accident, yes, it hopefully won't happen again, yes, but it is not a freak accident, it's an accident down to Seth misjudging the spot or going too hard or too fast and screwing up. Sucks, doesn't make Seth a bad worker or bad guy, but it's the way it is.
Couldn't care less that Bret's being rude about it. People are rude. If they're right, they're right.

Again accidents happen, its not like he set out there to injure Cena. Ryvack accidentally hurt Punk and he was labeled sloppy and "dumb as f***". This isn't like a pitcher hitting someone in the ribs with a fastball. That is an accident that happens and is part of the game. A wrestlers whole job is to do stuff WITHOUT hurting someone.

I want Bret to be an unchecked color commentator. Most of the time is very blunt but he says it with the volume of a golf announcer.
I need a guy on Raw commentating in a practical whisper saying stuff like "Has Dolph Ziggler even won a match this year? I don't know what he's even doing here to be honest. He looks cool taking a beating I guess, but that's no way to make a living. I don't know what he's cut out to do but it looks like it's not wrestling. He should go home before he really hurts himself."

Did you react the same way when Ryback hurt people? You can't have it both ways. Almost zero of the wrestling injuries are because someone had malicious intent, they're almost all because someone was sloppy or slipped, but it's interesting how we choose who to blame and who gets a pass.
