So wait, b/c it includes an HDMI, does that mean the games have been remastered in HD?

Another nice feature of it is if you have NES games on your Wii or WiiU, you can plug the controller into a Wii Remote to play them like that.

I'm disappointed in the lack of Bases Loaded II, but still a good lineup.

I'm going to wait to see what the emulation is like before buying one. I have a Genesis, Atari 2600 and Neo-Geo plug and play and the emulation is not on par with the original consoles. But those plug and plays ran for $20-$50 each so maybe the $100 will run better.

There should be a limited edition that comes with a tiny little zapper and robot too.

There should be a limited edition that comes with a tiny little zapper and robot too. It would have to be equipped with a sensor bar to work on HD tvs

Just from that shot I don't think the port is big enough to fit a cartridge into it. Also looks like it doesn't actually open. Ah, well. Can't win 'em all. Now if the mini SNES comes with all 3 Donkey Kong Country games, Super Metroid, Super Mario All-Stars, EarthBound, Super Mario RPG, and several others, that would be killer. Heck, they might do retro GBC and GBA ones, down the road.

Want. Want very badly.
Not that it's a real problem in these days of easy Googling, but I wonder how the hidden code issue for Star Tropics will be handled.

So wait, b/c it includes an HDMI, does that mean the games have been remastered in HD? I don't know about remastering, but if I had to guess there's probably some upscaling and fixes so the games work properly on HDTV's without input lag problems like you get with a lot of older systems on HDTV's.

I'd rather stick with the actual NES personally.

I'd rather stick with the actual NES personally. I still have a top loader and access to games if I want to buy them, but I can see this being useful for people who want to retro game without breaking the bank
