One of the things that got overlooked about the movie was The first battle of all of the Armies of Earth against Steppenwolf and his forces thousands of years ago. Yes, it was pretty much LOTR light, but goddamnit, GREEN LANTERNS! THE WIZARD SHAZAM! SOME GUY THAT SHOT FIRE (I had no idea who that was, but GREEN LANTERNS AND SHAZAM!!!)
I marked kinda hard at that flashback. {Spoiler}The guy that shot lightning? Pretty sure that was supposed to be Zeus. Especially since Diana was mentioning the gods fighting in the battle.

I enjoyed it too! Always liked the cartoon, so it was awesome to see Flash and Wonder Woman interacting again.

Maybe if they do a sequel...!

Am I the only one who loved this movie?? Can't say I loved it, but I went in knowing it would be edited up due to the changes made midstream, adjusted my expectations accordingly, and walked out feeling pretty good about it. Not likely a DVD buy or whatever for me, but I didn't feel bad spending the money to see it.

Am I the only one who loved this movie?? I didn't LOVE it but I definitely had a lot of fun watching it. Overall it was some very solid entertainment from the superhero genre and aside from the fact that the meddling was painfully obvious, I was really impressed with Snyder's eye for epic looking visuals. Something a lot of superhero movies struggle with imo.

I had fun with it. Not going to be a highly memorable superhero movie but I enjoyed bits of it.
There were some bits I could have lived without like the somehow too high amount of WW ass shots. Like, if they needed a backshot, fine, but there was an almost full on upskirt that...well, they could have shot that ANYWHERE else and would have been fine for the scene.
It did LOOK good, though, so I give it big props there.

It wasn’t entirely horrible. There were shots and things I didn’t really like, like Batman’s smile when Superman came to help them at the end. Totally not "Batman". Batman himself was actually a completely useless putz for most of the movie, I thought. Like, he had a lot of trouble fighting one Bug Drone (or whatever they're called). But Aquaman was really cool and sexy. I actually want to see his standalone movie now. Cyborg had some bad CGI but he was good enough. The Flash was pretty annoying most times but he had maybe one decent joke. And Wonder Woman was a victory . I did like Superman when he came back. He was really good. He felt like Superman. And dispite his terrible CGI Steppenwolf was actually a really good villain.
I did think the movie was going to be a wreck at the beginning with all it had to accomplish bringing all these characters together with so few movies a little backstory behind them (to me, a person who doesn't follow DC comics). But it came together nicely in the end. Maybe Marvel could take a lesson from them that you don’t need to stretch things out over seven hundred movies? Maybe it would've been nice to have an origins movie or standalone movie for Aquaman, Cyborg and Flash (I know he has a show at least), or something to make me care that Superman's gone. But it was nice to have everything tied up in one two hour package that left me with zero blue balls at the end.
There was just a lot of confusion and unnessesary stuff. Like the aformentioned Batman smile, or when Wonder Woman smiled into the camera when someone said they were following her plan. A lot of Flashs' joke fell flat. I didn't even notice Aquaman was sitting on the Rope of Truth because the rope was so out of shot when he pulled it out from under him. And even then I didn't even realize what it exactly was until my wife pointed it out to me.
Still, I at least enjoyed the two hours. More than a lot of the Marvel films.
7.5/10

Yeah, for as much as Wonder Woman has been heralded as a victory in the progressive movement a lot of time was spent focused on her ass while Aquaman was wearing a full body-suit.

an extended cut is coming out to home video just like Batman V. Superman. Definitely blame WB for the pacing. The movie was supposed to be well over two hours, but they've gotten so much flack in the past for having longer films, they were told to cut it. Between that and the reshoots, it's like the studio learned nothing from Suicide Squad. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw yet ANOTHER Director's Cut.I know director's cuts are no new thing, but Warner Bros/DCEU is getting into the bad habit of sending a butchered to hell finished product to theaters, with "The real movie" coming to home video. They're already seeing diminished returns at the theater, they do not want to send the message that they're better off just waiting for the director's cut.

It's just a weird thing to keep doing. Your director's cuts should be extra stuff for die-hards to enjoy; they shouldn't be necessary for the thing to even be coherent.

Randomly decided to give it another go while it's still in theaters. Only guy in here. Legit private screening improves things a bunch.

It was still nice to be fairly alone, but I was still a bit bummed haha..
