And if Finn didn't get hurt, the Bullet Club would have the WWF/E World, Universal, ROH World and G1 Climax titles.

9 years ago, I went to a TNA house show where AJ Styles played the part of the two-man "comedy" duo with Tomko. This was also around the time he became Karen Angle/Jarret's boytoy.
A few years later, I watched as TNA gave AJ Styles a classic wrestlecrap paternity angle and thought "That's it. He's dead in the water. His career is over."
Now, in 2016, He holds the highest prize in the highest company in the industry. Couldn't be happier for him.

The only guy to hold IWGP/PWG/TNA/WWE/NWA championships right? A damn shame he never held the ROH World Championship (which he would have had no trouble doing or having a good reign with, but no they had to put it on Xavier because reasons....)
Well done to him and not only one of the, if not the best of his generation but one of the best of all time

So the top champions on each brand are as follows: RAW - Kevin Owens - ROH NXT - Shinsuke Nakamura - NJPW Smackdown Live - AJ Styles - Mr. TNA himself

So really all we need now is for Angle and the Hardy's to rejoin WWE and this will officially have been the most utterly insane year of all time.

Bit of perspective... Sammartino Backlund Hogan Andre Savage Warrior Undertaker Flair Hart Michaels Austin Rock Foley Triple H Angle Lesnar Cena Orton Batista Punk Bryan Rollins Reigns Ambrose And now... STYLES. The 48th WWE World Champion. You accidentally left Vince McMahon and Alberto Del Rio off of that list. No need to thank me for pointing that out

Two years ago people were bragging that he'd be on his hands and knees begging TNA to rehire him, he restores and redeems himself in ROH. He goes to NJPW and becomes the top Gaijin in the promotion winning The IWGP Heavyweight Championship and holds victories over Tanahashi, Okada, Suzuki and others. Wins the top title in one of the hottest promotions in The UK. He's the only man to ever win a feud with John Cena, and now, AJ Styles adds the biggest prize in all of wrestling to his mantle, fully establishing himself as one of the all time greats in wrestling

Been a fan of the guy since the beginning of TNA when I was crushing on him hard. Over the years I always thought he deserved better, wished he had taken that chance. It took the company he helped build lowballing him for Styles to finally bet on himself. He went to Japan, proved to Vince and the rest of the world he was a hot commodity. Comes to WWE is actually treated like a star, booked like a star, and of all the accolades he has the one that impresses me is that "Vince actually didn't f*** up something amazing". And while not the barn burner match I had dreamed he'd win the title on, I'm nevertheless ridiculously happy that he's finally proven why's he's the best wrestler of this generation. Can't wait to hear Mauro run down his list of accomplishments on SD Live, and can't wait to see the ego-jock walking around with his title on SD annoying the hell out of everyone. Sad he's going to be fed to Cena like everyone else.

Dixie: I f***ing blew it Rhyno: "What am I doing here? I'm the Smackdown Tag Team Champion!" Safe to say he's losing it to Cena, but hopefully not too immediately. Let him have a good run first If last year is any indication, Cena should be back in late December, so I would put Cena's title win at The Royal Rumble.

This has been a wild year for him. He went from a phenomenal response in his rumble appearance to losing against Chris Jericho at WM (I remember a lot of people lost their shit over that one) to winning a feud with John Cena AFTER losing his backup and now WWE champion. Best thing is, he's still got four months to go his first year. Really though, I've enjoyed what I've seen of him and I'm really glad they didn't screw him over because he used to be synonymous with TNA (his NJPW run likely helped. That and Vince not giving a shit about TNA like he did about WCW).
