Miz's name being on the list of WWE Title holders just seems so weird.

As long as his reign isn't booked stupidly and he isn't fed to a returning Cena in the process I'll be a happy fan.

I can't wait until John Cena comes back and eventually beats him. I'm gonna laugh so hard when that happens...lol. I'm counting down until that happens. To me...Styles represents everything wrong with WWE at the moment. No character whatsoever. Minimal personality and charisma. I thought he was a bore in TNA and still think he's one in WWE. As for the Japan shit... I can care less.
I just want to see Cena beat him for the belt so I can have a good laugh...lol. "Couldn't."

Imagine telling someone five years ago the world title holders in WWE circa 2016 would include Jon Moxley, Tyler Black, AJ Styles, Kevin Steen, and Prince Devitt. Don't forget Rebecca Knox (retired), Rhyno (in a TNA shit-cycle, also has looked 40 since 2003) and Heath Slater (already well on the way to being the walking punchline he was for 5 years)

AJ winning makes sense. He had the momentum, Dean's character is much more of a chaser than the champion fending off threat after threat, so it works for me.
I don't WANT him to lose to Cena when he gets back, but I would also not hate it entirely, either, depending on how it was handled. AJ's not going anywhere at this rate, he's main event solidified.

This was match of the year, in a year with a lot of stiff competition. They made all the right choices and I couldn't predict a goddamn thing.

11 Years Ago Today September 11th 2005 at Unbreakable Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels. The best match in TNA history Now, that is pretty damn crazy. While I don't share the opinion of it being the best TNA match ever, I do think it might actually be the most important match ever, as well as the peak of the X-Division. To have Styles win the WWE title on the anniversary of Unbreakable is the type of coincidence you couldn't write in movies.

We criticize wwe and vince a lot(and it's often deserved) but we have to give them some credit here for having aj and Kevin owens as champion. It's something no one would have ever predicted as happening because it was just too right....but here we are. Really seems surreal.

The 48th WWE World Champion. I know its cool to bash and belittle Punk, but you can really see who was the guy to kick open the door for the "indy" guys... I'd say that's more on Bryan, Punk seemed to be looked up as a prospect by the office for a good long while. On topic, yeah, this is bizarre looking back even from a few years ago.

I actually wanted to see Dean as champ a bit longer to see what he could do, but f*** it. AJ is one of my favourite wrestlers ever and I'm so happy for him.

I couldn't give less of a crap if Cena takes it off of him once he returns, but for now Styles easily deserves his moment in the sun.
For now.

Dude has Arn Anderson's Disease.
