Either manga or anime form. Both are long running series that ended over the last few years. What are your thoughts ?
I will say in the beginning I preferred Bleach but it faded off after a while for me. Naruto in terms of characters had a little more debt. I hated that characters like Chad and Ishida essentially got pushed to the side and forgotten, more Ishida than anything. Tho you could say the same for characters like Neji and Rock Lee.
Also f*** war arcs. That shit sort of put a damper on both series for me. Bleach should of ended after Aizen was defeated while I'm fine with Narutos ending even if did feel like it went on forever.

Naruto easily. Both eventually became predictable but Bleach was insanely predictable. Naruto at least still managed to throw a few curveballs.
Ultimately what Bleach ended up becoming was just a series of pretty pictures.
Kubo is an awful writer(or at least an awful long term writer), but he is still an amazing artist. Pair him with an actual writer and let him handle the art and true magic could happen.

Bleach was fun for less time than Naruto was. Both had MUCH too big casts and too many arcs, but I think Naruto ended on a better note.

Breaking it up between manga and anime
MANGA
Bleach-Read the first 20 volumes or so. And enjoyed it. Then the place in town I was buying the trades at stopped carrying them. So switched to Shonen Jump ,back when it was still coming out in print form. But the chapters in SJ were way way ahead of where I left off. And the writing felt weak. So I stopped. But those first 20 volumes were worth reading.
Naruto-Read the first 50 volumes of this. Mostly cause my cousin's oldest boy was into it. Was really hit and miss to me. Were I will go back and re-read the Bleach trades I own I sold off all my Naruto trades.
ANIME
Bleach-Owned a boxed set of it. Was a huge red box with at least 4 dvds in it,no clue what volume or whatever it was. Plus watched it off and on on CN's anime block. While it isn't as good as the manga,it was fun. At least what I saw.
Naruto-The manga was ok at times, what I have seen of the anime was just bad. I wish I had seen it subtitled, cause the dubbing was horrid.
So at least for me Bleach beats Naruto in both manga and Anime forms.

To be honest, if Bleach had ended with the defeat of Aizen, I would have easily said it was the better of the two. Certainly, I enjoyed early Bleach more than I do early Naruto, even if the Aizen saga was starting to really drag near the end.
The problem is, it didn't end there. It kept going. And going. And going. And while Naruto had its faults (Sasuke), I still enjoyed the latter half of it a lot more than I did the final arcs of Bleach.
Plus, I'm actually kinda enjoying Boruto (the sequel to Naruto) right now, if just because it's a monthly thing instead of weekly.
But I like Fairy Tail more than the both of them, so meh.

I liked Bleach a lot at first, especially during the Soul Society arc but after the Sternritter invasion and how it dragged out, I lost interest. I hated the way Bleach ended, with some loose ends that weren't tied up.
Naruto started out slow for me but picked up and the ending was great, I got to check out Boruto.

I will admit that I cant really get over Naruto's premise "Hey, there's this kid who's the son of a great hero and has a Demon inside of him that could wake up and slaughter us all. LET'S TREAT HIM LIKE SHIT!"
I mean, do these people not have a self preservation instinct?

Liked the later Naruto better than anything Bleach did. Manga wise, Bleach looked a lot better, but story-wise, I kept hearing John Cena's music every time the story had Ichigo in it. At least Naruto gave us Hidan. I've never liked an asshole that much in my life.

I agree with those of you who brought up Sasuke. Don't get me wrong I like his character but I didn't care for how the story was shaped to fit narrative.
He was a anti villain but then he goes full villain (which I liked) and then back to good again. Him attacking the Kages and Naruto passing out about it when no one else believed in Sasuke really hurt Narutos character for a min for me.

As I said before Bleach should of ended after Aizen defeat. It was the perfect ending in the sense that it tied up what dominantly the story since the first major arc.
However, the fullbring arc wasted time and the Quincy of war wasted even more time and left unanswered questions

Bleach overstayed its welcome, but I never liked Naruto. So Bleach it is.

Only watched the first halves of each. Naruto I fell out of during its hundred run of padding, and Bleach I fell behind during the Bount arc which just dragged too much. I don't know what ultimately happened between Ichigo with Rukiya and Orihime, but knowing Hinata scored Naruto at the end then makes Naruto the winner in my book.

I'll put it in spoiler tags for anyone who didn't read the end of Bleach. {Spoiler}Ichigo and Orihime get married and have a son. Rukia eventually becomes captain of the 13th Division, marries Renji, and they have a daughter.

Let me start this by saying when I first started reading both Naruto and Bleach I enjoyed them but I grew to hate both. Naruto I at least read to the end because I was determined after sinking so much time into it. Bleach on the other hand I tapped out of after the fullbringer arc.
So by default that means I pick One Piece because while sure the past few arcs have all gone on for too long, I've never sat down to read a chapter of One Piece and said what kind of shit will I have to read for 17-20 pages this week.

It's really amazing just how good One Piece has managed to still be when you look at how almost every other series of this type loses steam.

Both started great but ended up declining into a nonsensical mess.
Bleach should've ended when Aizen was defeated but Shonen Jump insisted that Kubo continue on it even though he didn't want to. So he made it bad to spite them knowing fans would hate it.
I personally find Shippuden to be non canon as Kishimoto is a hack and a fraud as it's terrible and filled with nothing but Deus Ex Machinas, bad writing and terrible lessons.
"You can always achieve anything you set out your mind to do, just so long as you have a Sharingan. If you don't, don't even bother trying. And heaven help you if you're a girl, because then, you're only purpose is to be subservient and become a housewife and you're a freak of nature if you want to be something else. And the more quiet and subdued you are and the bigger your boobs, that's the only way you'll ever land a man. Not to mention you're a terrible person if you don't get back with a guy who treats you like trash all the time you knew him and attempted to kill you.
Oh and remember it doesn't matter your crime, doesn't matter have many people have suffered and died because if you and what you've done to them, all will be forgiven and forgotten so long as you half heartedly mumble sorry under your breath."
