My favorite thing about WWE right now is how "Make everyone sad" has become their prime booking philosophy. Meltzer's mentioned it a few times, but the takeaway WWE had from the whole Daniel Bryan saga in 2013/2014 is that constantly holding your babyface back will really get them over. So they're now applying that philosophy to every babyface in the company (except Roman Reigns because he's getting the classic rocket up the ass push). remember when SRS Jericho got so over , wwe thought it was a great idea to have all their top heels try to be like him? Maybe wwe should realize one glove doesn't fit all

Wait, they had the babyface up 2-1, tap out with 2 seconds to go to send it to OT, and then tap out again to lose the match? What?
Couldn't they have just flipped it and just had Sasha be down 2-1, tie it with seconds to go despite a bad knee, and then lose in OT because of her knee? She would have still lost, but looked a lot better doing it.

I thought the match was great. Great drama, the ladies worked their butts off. Although it is dumb that the champion Sasha who was 1+ tapped out with two seconds left on the clock. The callers said she had no choice, but come on she was in that hold for nearly 2 minutes at that point..what's an extra 2 seconds? I felt the same way. I was reading through the beginning being all, "oh god, I can't depreciate it and will be eviscerated (TM. Kane) because I actually enjoyed the match". I agree the last two minutes into overtime were booked oddly. But I love Charlotte, and she should never have lost the title to Sasha Horrible Face Banks to begin with. On Raws. Over and over. But as much as I like the women involved, that was bad booking. The nepotism comments towards Charlotte make me laugh b/c some of those same people are cheering Shane "I can hang with every big star including Braun Strowman" McMahon. C'mon, Ms. Flair doesn't have a hand in her booking. The same can't be said the other way around. I'd be excited for the inevitable Charlotte v. Bayley match if they hadn't already made Bayley feel unimportant and losing that spark she had in NXT. Have Bayley win it at WM, breaking Charlotte's PPV streak (and the match better be damn good to do it, not some boring awful looking Bayley to Belly), and then move on to feud with Sasha Much Better As A Heel Banks. Heel Banks and Face Bayley is an amazing match up, and one I look forward to. Assuming Vince doesn't Romanreigns it up. All in all great match, can't wait to show the roommate who is a casual watcher, but loves Charlotte as well. All hail the queen.

I didn't watch last night, but we talked before about how Pittsburgh always gets these weak Iron Man matches. I even said they do it for lame marketing reasons (Steel City = Iron Man).
But I was there for Bragging Rights and Orton/Cena. Cena has Orton in the STFU, the entire arena is counting down (5!...4!...3!...) and Orton taps to lose. Such an idiotic ending, no matter who or how it's done.
At least hit a finisher and pin the person to make it more believable instead of tapping out with one second left like an idiot.
Has there been an iron man match where the ref's hand counted three at the buzzer or time ran out as his hand was coming down for three? Now THAT would be an interesting ending. They would really have to time it right.

Such a dumb decision to have that be the blowoff. There were more story possibilities with Sasha winning. You could have done Bayley/Charlotte and Sasha/Nia leading up to Wrestlemania before doing Sasha/Bayley at Wrestlemania. Now everyone just kinda keeps spinning their wheels and you pretty much have to do Bayley/Charlotte early.
They seem to be trying to play up "Charlotte being undefeated at PPV's" but who cares?

It is rather ridiculous that the title has only been around for 8 months and already it's changed hands seven times between only two people.
It kills all drama and storytelling. What's the point in the audience supporting either woman being champion when they've already had multiple reigns and holding the title is likely to be a temporary situation anyway?
It's utterly stupid booking.

They likely want Bayley/Charlotte for the title at Mania, and aren't ready to turn Sasha yet. Or they're gonna turn Sasha anyway and have her be Bayley's pre-Charlotte feud.

I'm sorry but the majority of the booking on Raw is shit. The women's revolution on Monday nights is dead and it's just plain shitty to these women to book them like this. Raw is Monkey's Paw wishing to an amazing degree.

I have no problem with the hot potato-ing of the title. Long title reigns are overrated and if you have two talents that are equal, it makes sense that they would trade wins. I'm just tired of Charlotte.

Yeah, you don't do it twice. Like, she has the Natural Selection move, she could have just friggin' pinned her, or even f*** her leg up and knock her out of the ring so she can't make it back in by ten.

I still like both Charlotte and Sasha, but I am so ready for this feud to be done and for them both to move on to other opponents for a while. I think I would've enjoyed it more without Foley and Steph throwing "first first first" around for a couple of their matches. Felt less like a heated rivalry and more about WWE saying "Look at us! Progressive!" - Whereas Sasha and Charlotte are both so talented we know they're more than capable of main eventing in any match type anyway.
As I say, still dig Sasha, still dig Charlotte. I don't think this mess will ruin either of them, Sasha will always be over, Charlotte will always have a ton of heat (seriously she's so good), they just need to be kept away from each other. It's not as epic a rivalry as WWE thinks it is, and it's mostly their own fault for booking it like that.
No complaints about the matches though. They've always been good to great no matter how sucky the angle behind them has been.

By this point, none of these stipulations have any meaning. Something like Hell in the Cell or an Iron Man match should be the big feud ender, where someone finally indisputably comes out on top and vanquishes their foe. Right now there's every reason to think that Sasha will it back again on a Raw. You can't do that seesaw battle almost ten times in less than a calendar year and it have any oomph at all. Like I said an Ironman makes sense just following the idea of the feud where the two of them continue to trade wins back and forth, but we had the Hell in a cell which should be a feud ender and the way they handled the ironwoman match didn't exactly make Charlotte look like the superior wrestler since she won by the skin of her teeth. edit: Also on the 2 seconds thing... I wouldn't have had as big a deal with it if Charlotte was the one that tapped at 2 seconds because the Face surging and tying at the last second makes more sense also Sasha then doesn't tap back to back like she did.

The ending just makes Sasha look weak and stupid.
They expect people to seriously believe she could not hold out for just 2 more seconds and win the match?
How idiotic.

To be fair, Sasha was holding out in the regular figure four but tapped at the exact moment that Charlotte got into the full bridge position. It was actually pretty well timed.

BUT IT'S HISTORIC!
Anyway, I simmed a universe mode in WWE 2k15 a few years back. Kaitlyn and Natalya ended up having a 2 year feud because they kept trading the Divas title to each other.
The nightmare is now real.
