Razzies are nothing but star ***cker's. If their was a low budget movie made today with a no name cast as bad quality as Ed Wood or Manos The Hands Of Fate they would go largely ignored by The Razzies.

I'm not even saying Batman vs. Superman was great or anything, it wasn't, but the very idea it could win so many awards for bad films seems REALLY wrong to me.
Like I said before, it won because everyone said it was bad not because it actually was the worst.
Hell, the fact these awards haven't ever had a place for stuff like Sharknado makes no sense because those are literally badly designed and take themselves WAY too seriously to even be fun.
And yeah, I'm aware of the joke but the joke's pretty much become "Look at what everyone calls bad, that's our winner!"

few thoughts:
The director's cut of Dawn of Justice is far superior to the chopped up version the studio cut to shit
Who is The Barry L. Bumstead, and why does he have an award named after him?
What's Misconduct?
How come Ghostbusters wasn't nominated for anything?
Why do the Razzie Awards exsist, they just shit on what's popular to hate and not the worst movie the year?

Because Manos was made with $1000 by a guy who'd never made a movie before, not by Warner Brothers Pictures. That's like saying "Eva Marie isn't the worst wrestler ever, this one guy playing Doink in my local shindy is worse"

I'm amazed Ghostbusters was nowhere near this.

It angers me because if done right this could be funny and maybe somewhat reputable and maybe end up on TV -- instead they just throw darts at the movies that were panned for the winners, or so it seems.

I too am surprised that Ghostbusters wasn't in this - not because it was bad, because it was honestly a very enjoyable film - but because that kind of pandering to certain subsets of the angry nerd population usually works for publicity.

Of course, the only guy to show up in any way to accept was the guy who made Hillary's America, and he just was there to troll for political reasons.
Can we just forget about making any attempt to spectacle this farce?

I'm amazed Ghostbusters was nowhere near this. It does hit the Razzie voter of Big advertised movie that bombed which is pretty much what most Razzie voters go for... that said Batman V. Superman had the Worst Remake in the bag and nothing was beating it. It was on the list of nominees for Worst Screenplay, rather deservedly in my opinion, but I also can't argue with the finalists they ultimately went with either.

Not at all surprised Batman vs. Superman won everything, but while it was probably the worst movie I saw in 2016 - mostly because I didn't see that many - it really doesn't warrant it. And honestly while I very much disliked it I thought it was better than Man of Steel anyway.

You know you failed when The movie didn't make 1 billion. two of the most famous comic book characters couldn't even get to 1 billion

few thoughts: The director's cut of Dawn of Justice is far superior to the chopped up version the studio cut to shit That doesn't excuse them from releasing as shitty chopped to shit movie to theaters and expect you to have to spend MORE money to see the "good" version. people shit on what's popular to hate because literally anyone can vote for them. It's not like the Oscars where there is a group of specified voters. Legitmately if you send the people that make it like 40 bucks anyone can vote for the Razzies. So therefore shit that everyone hates wins.

The Razzies use to be good but it now has the Rotten Tomatoes problem of not knowing the difference between worst picture and most underwhelming/disappointing picture. From what I've heard, Batman V Superman is just meh. An over hyped moving being alright is not a bad movie, just underwhelming.

A star wars side story did better then you did A Star Wars side story did better than about 90% of all movies in existence, though.

You know you failed when The movie didn't make 1 billion. two of the most famous comic book characters couldn't even get to 1 billion Yeah, that should have been an EASY billion. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all in one movie, that should've been a walk in the park. And I'd say it bodes badly for Justice League given that, given it's just, "Here are three huge names you already saw team up and some other people that don't matter!"

A star wars side story did better then you did Dude, by that logic I expect everyone to rant at La La Land for winning Best Film tonight when Hidden Figures made more money than it. Money should have nothing to do with anything awards related.
