Ok I think this would fit in the fresh, new "Ask the Mod Thread" It was a question of mine:
Question: How do you replace a link's text with the text you want? Or How do you hyperlink?
Answer straight from Karisma's post: (read the quote)

Can I have more than one picture in my sig? I did this for a while, then I got a note from a mod, yet I hear people talking about being able to fit 2 or 3 pics in. WTF? Those people use Paint to join the two pictures together so that they are one picture.

Just curios, but didn't Blue Meanie have a forum on the old board? What happened? I wasn't a Mod at the old board, but this is what I remember happening. Kash could probably explain it better. Meanie did indeed have a forum back on ezBoards it was the same thing as Quakes forum. Unfortunately, Meanie couldn't post as much towards the end of the old board due to his work commitments. Madison locked the old forum there and archived it. He left an open invitation for Meanie to ever come back.

Off the top of my head the only other people I know who are wrestlers are Beav. Scott Phoenix used to post at the old board but I don't think he's registered here.

Why are the threads I bookmark disappearing from those booked in my profile? Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz How old are the threads you have bookmarked? If they are more than about 6 months old then they disappear. There are 300+ pages in off-topic, but click on about page 250, nothing there except the announcements.

On that topic, is it possible for members to suggest recommendations for future mods? Suggest away. Don't expect us to listen, though.

DDD and I are on the same page, on this occasion. A rare occurance. Mark this day in your calenders, kids. And Maxx, I'll gladly explain why, as you seem disheartened. We have access to information the posters don't, and have some different criteria when choosing a fellow mod. Turning it in to a popularity contest would not add a productive member to the staff. And since some people have expressed a desire to do a "revolution", they might be able to rally a few other malcontents and win a poll. Where'd we all be then, eh?

Damn. Had you said MCP, I would have modded him right now. Sorry. Guess it wasn't meant to be, MCP. Shiori wills it. Hmm, I should experiment more with my 'willing' in relation to MCP. And I don't necessarily think that Maxx was talking about having a vote/popularity contest in reference to modship, more spasmodic suggestions from posters (by PM if preferred). Of course, I'm aware this suggestion could be abused- you might suddenly get 3,000 new posters, all with similar writing style, recommending the same person for Mod via PM- but I'm confident that the staff would notice something fishy. That's more along the lines of what I was thinking. For example, I could PM Deus & say "If you're selecting a new mod I think that such & such would be a good choice as he/she is always very helpful to newer posters & making sure that board rules are being followed & blah-de-blah-de-blah". And I wasn't really disheartened, so to speak, over the response I got. I understand that there would be some who would abuse such a system (if it existed). I know of some posters who are rather well-behaved, but wouldn't make good mods (I'd cite myself as such an example) & there are some who people really seem to like who probably wouldn't be responsible enough for such a position.

You are always welcome to make the suggestions. Just don't be offended if they aren't followed.
And we don't announce a vacant position, so you'd just have to shoot when the urge hit you.

No mods are on right now so I'll ask it here:
yo... mods
So if you color the nipples of a nude pic of a woman is it ok to put up? I say this because I saw a sig pic with exposed breast, the nipples are colored maybe to pass the "cover the nipples and the nude picture is ok" rule. I don't want to say who it is for everyone on the boards to see though. P.M would be alright though.

is post whoring against the rules ? If it was, it'd be in the rules thread It's pointless and annoying if it's hijacking a proper thread and for shits and giggles some post counts might get temporarily muddled but against the rules....no I remember the days that specific threads were set up for them lol

I have a question. On the main page, where it says "2 Staff Members, 63 Members, 81 Guests, 4 Invisible Users," what is the difference between guests and invisible? Why is it that the list can say one thing, but after you refresh it could say something completly off?

A guest is either someone who: a. Is not registered here, is just lurking b. Is registered here, but hasn't logged on.
Invisible is when a poster chooses to remain invisible when they are logged on. Only Mods can see when they are on. If you want to become invisible, you can modify it in your profile. Personally (and no offence to anyone who is invisible) I see no point in being invisible.
