Definitely thought Kim was a goner. Glad she wasn't, as i thought that would've been a cheap way to kill her off. Jimmy using Irene may have been the most I've ever disliked him. We've seen him do worse things, but that irked me more than usual. And, oh hai, Lydia. You terrible person, you. Yeah he has done worse things but it either involved criminals or douchebags or not as seen as a big deal. The guy was practically torturing a sweet old lady who remained sweet and trusting the entire duration and he knew it. Like that was by far the least sympathetic he came across and it was pretty damn uncomfortable. Hell he even came bad when Kim was already late.

How am I now just realizing that Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin) was Professor Lasky on Saved by the Bell: The College Years?

Considering everyone else he messes with mostly deserves it (and the massive amount of people who take Blue Sky are arguably better off as they'd just be taking shittier meth anyway), I think that may be a contender for worst thing he's ever done. Also, the whole buildup to that crash, just reminded me of Don Margolis screwing up. You knew a horrible crash was coming, you just had to wait and watch...

Pretty eventful finale tonight. Cannot wait to see where this goes and it appears Jimmy's transformation to Saul Goodman is coming pretty soon.

I thought the first half of the season showed some promise but nope. Slow plodding go nowhere bullshit.

Super disagree. This season you got to see Howard go from "defend this house" to "WTF Chuck?". You got to see the relationship between Jimmy and Chuck finally come to a head and then get resolved. You saw the seeds of professional jealousy sown between Kim and Jimmy, and their relationship show strain because Kim feels like she has to cover for Jimmy. And then you saw Jimmy become a survivor, and make the best of the situation he found himself in, even if it was by his own hand that he was in that situation. We all know what the end is. What this show is about is enjoying the journey from Jimmy to Saul. Walter White wasn't Heisenberg until he had to deal with Tuco. Jimmy's trying to stay Jimmy, but with Chuck presumed dead, I think the transition is going to speed up.

This season was worth it if only for the courtroom episode. Don't know how it could be "underwhelming"

I think Gus is going to be the one to kill Nacho, at least by that look he gave him after Hector went down. Plus,it makes him look good to Juan Bolsa and the cartel.

I really liked this season and the finale. It may even be my favorite season, so far. The show is certainly a slow burn and I understands some people's frustrations with it, but I kinda enjoy the slower pace.

Jimmy holds off the settlement...so where does he get the money to become Saul?
What's that? Chuck is getting a huge payout and then tells Jimmy "Embrace who you are...I'd at least respect you then."
Can't wait for next season.

I think Gus is going to be the one to kill Nacho, at least by that look he gave him after Hector went down. Plus,it makes him look good to Juan Bolsa and the cartel. Thing is, Jimmy/Saul's going to get involved somehow. His first line after being kidnapped by Jessie and Walt was blaming him for something. I'd guess it being one of the last things to happen, because these writers don't leave threads hanging.

People keep talking about how slow this show is but I barely notice because I haven't been bored once yet.

The trial episode was GREAT. But I just feel that the show has been plodding along almost aimlessly over the past season, with very little being resolved.
Why give us a cliffhanger with Chuck? Why not just show us the consequences of his actions at the end?
The Mike episodes have been a big bore to me, especially the scene that dragged on for 15 minutes where he was dismantling the car and dealing with the GPS device.
There is plenty I love about the show, but a lack of ANYTHING of consequence happening during various points has made me frustrated. Breaking Bad, for as many valleys as it had, never felt like this.
I hope it picks up. I really do enjoy the show overall, but this season was disappointing.

Wooooooo. Loved this season. For me, this show has more going for it than Breaking Bad did. I loved BB, but by S3 I was kinda burnt out on Walt. We'll see how much longer they can keep this up for BCS though.
The ending of the episode was so damn good. McKean is gunning for an Emmy or something for sure.
Mike being absent from the ep was kinduva bummer but the resolution of Nacho's plan was really intense.

Holy...shit. I just watched and damn... This show has me hook, line, and sinker. Personally, I can't understand the underwhelming comments but everyone is different, so that's that. It sucks that Michael McKean won't be on the show anymore but I do agree that Chuck's assumed death will Jumpstart the Jimmy to Saul transformation, especially with what Chuck said to him. My feeling is that the more Jimmy takes in what he said, he'll understand that in his own way Chuck said that he forgave him and to focus on what he's good at and that Chuck finally approves.
