Fortunately, the promotion of this show baited me into a well done match!

Okay my husband is awesome! He bought me both the non-wwe shirts I wanted. I got a Progress British Strong Style tanktop and my Marty Scurll "Every Club Needs a Villain" shirt.

On a show full of very good matches it speaks volumes of the quality of the match that it is clearly the best match on the show by a big margin.

It's incredible to see how good Tyler Bate is at 19 and how strong he is. Dude might have more long term potential than anyone else ever.

I've loved both these guys since the first time I saw them, and I expected Dunne would take it from Bate, I just wasn't sure when. Tyler is definitely my boy, though, so I'm glad people may realize just how good he is after that match, if they didn't before. I'm proud of those boys, they stole Chicago.

I saw a bit of this in the thread, ironically before there had been any dives at all. In the end there was 2, both by Bate, one was reversed and told the story going into the finish. There were zero finisher kick outs and overall I thought they told a very good physical story.

Just watched this match. Have been watching wrestling since I was 5 and at this point, I basically half-watch everything. Not this. This might be the best match I've seen all year.
Also, ORANGE CRUSH!

For all the "Tyler Bate is only 20!" talk, let's also remember...
Pete Dunne is only 23.
The future is bright AF.

Since when did Tyler Bate learn the Spiral Tap?

People actually want to comment "Dive lol" to this match? Friggen shit that is. Match of the year so far. There were two dives to speak of, and it was a hard hitting, pulse pounding matchup which is a statement as to why wrestling is so great.
If you didn't like this match I don't know why you're even a fan. This is what we live to see, just pure quality and pure storytelling. Dunne better be on the track to a World Title, and Bate is nothing but upside at 20 if he stays healthy.
That was Nakamura levels of stars being made in a match. Well done to each of them. And Randy, Jinder, hoo wee, good luck...

As others have echoed Pete Dunne is THAT guy.
Dude could be a megaheel on the main roster if given the chance. He'd be a sure fire touchdown, homerun, goal, slam dunk....all sports stuff. All of them rolled up in Dunne.

Since when did Tyler Bate learn the Spiral Tap? The look of shock on his face when he hit it was priceless. Like he wasn't sure he could pull it off but went for it anyway.

To repeat what I said in the Takeover thread.
The U.K. is supposed to be getting their own WWE show. This program can easily carry it.
I really need to actually go back and watch the tournament.

All of them rolled up in Dunne. This. It is sensational that at just 23, Dunne just gets everything it takes to be a proper heel. The facial expressions, the mannerisms, everything, he just exudes legitimacy of being a prick and it is glorious. Tyler Bate still has a way to go with the character side, but its incredible just how damn good he is between the ropes at his age.

Never expected the Chicago crowd to start several "U-K!" Chants in the house that CM Punk built that right there is high kudos from the WWE Universe when smark crowds lose themselves in the actual in ring product

This will echo most things already said - but insanely captivating match. Dunne just has "it".
