Yes, you can't argue with that. I wouldn't be surprised if Orton pulled some strings to have Jinder Mahal go over. It is noted from a podcast that he did that he is a big advocate of Mahal.

I think the dude would gladly put me over if he was getting paid.

Kinda interesting how guys like Rock and Orton (people who grew up within the company due to their families) have no issues putting guys over.

Oh definitely. Even more than The Rock since he never came back as Hollywood megastar and suddenly turn super selfish.

Yeah, him and Rock have got to be up there as the kings of "giving" in a main event role. Probably HBK too if you forget his first run.

Remember that story from the former writer about HHH reading through scripts and going "Am I f***ing going over?"
Orton's probably like, "He's going f***ing over? Alright, that's cool."

True, but Orton also wants to Maven brought back into the fold, so I've not completely ruled out he just likes to throw these things out to f*** with people.

It's kind of funny how Orton champions all these guys who never do anything more complex than a vertical suplex.

If I remember correctly, Orton was a big believer in Wyatt as well and wanted to help him get over more and was willing to do whatever.

Randy was supposed to win, but Jinder made that boy do the right thing.

I think there's a difference between them in that Rock was most likely of the mindset "I can easily undo any damage done by a loss with a quick promo, I have nothing to worry about" while Randy likely knows "They always seem to come back to putting a title on me eventually anyway, I have nothing to worry about."

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Just wanted to use that gif for the easy Christian joke. Even though Christian is on record saying Orton was one of his biggest backers backstage.

He seems to look at it like it's a job. Which, of course, it is.

I'll give the guy credit, he may be one of my least favorite main event guys, but he definitely seems willing to put talent over, and I respect that.
