How the hell did Jerry get back to the hilltop safely? A couple of episodes ago, he was captured by Negan's men. And now he is inexplicably at the hilltop?
The writing on this show, I swear...

They stopped Maggie and a few other Hilltoppers on the road one night, threatened to kill Jerry, killed some redshirt instead and gave Jerry back. I can’t remember where they were on their way back from but It was after the Ezikiel episode and I think he was in the car too. It was honestly the most concern I’ve had for one characters well being in a long time (Jerry’s)

Someone want to explain to me what was going on with Jadis tonight? Why did she leave Negan poorly tied up near a gun, a flare and some pictures she didn’t want him to burn? And why did she abduct him only to let him go? And aside from looking cool what was the point of that Walker on the cart? Did I miss an episode?
I guess the point of this episode was to further write Morgan out of the show?

So we're the writers expecting us to want f***tard kid to be found?
It was a disappointment when Carol found him. I was hoping to see a zombie eating him

Just found out that the kid Henry is the younger brother of the actress who played Sophia on Walking Dead way back in Season 2.
Also, the area where Carol found Henry is the same area where Rick left Sophia back in Season 2.

When Rick stops to talk to Michonne
Rick: I think we should have another baby. It's the perfect time.

Long Haired Saviours death was the most satisfying death in a long time.. I've been wanting that f***er to die for ages now.. I took great joy out of seeing him being eaten alive ;D
I got a feeling Simon might not make it to the end of the season.. Despite being a complete arsehole I really enjoy his character.. But now that Negan is back and he knows what went down, I don't fancy his chances.
Really enjoying this season personally,
Look forward to the final 2 episodes.

Why did you do it Morgan?.. You know, back in Season 1 Episode 1 where you saved me? I'd have had Rick break the 4th Wall in that scene

So far this has been a pretty good season, much better than Season 7 as there are no more bottle episodes.
Glad Jared finally bit the dust, it's about damn time.

Please don’t take this as a way of jabbing at fans of the show these days. This is just where I personally stand.
This show has become Sunday Night Raw it’s so bad. And I’m watching still in order to keep caught up. Vince’s continuity team has got be to moonlighting as Walking Dead writers these days. Shadow of its former self and really putting one more whip lesion to its legacy each and every week they keep writing themselves into more holes they’ll never climb out of.
Also like RAW, there are a handful of reasons to try to stay engaged and keep up. But man, they’re crapping all over what was building to be a fine legacy.

I think the problem is once Negan's big moment happened there was nothing to keep the momentum going. Correct me if I am wrong, however, a lot of the story after Negan killed Glenn in the book was just building up to the war with little to nothing happening. It's weird because I literally haven't watched a single episode this season and have them all on my DVR. From my point of view I think it's a combination of zombie burn out and apathy.

The last quarter of season five and all of season six was spent waiting for Negan to show up.
Season seven was spent wishing Negan had never shown up.
Season eight has been spent waiting for Negan to go away.
Negan has not been good for the show.

I catched up recently after not having watching it in years and I'm beyond happy.
Trevor from GTA in Walking Dead gave me a boner.

I've been enjoying this stretch of episodes a lot more than previously. It just feels like important things are happening, the characters have more well defined arcs, and we're all not just sitting on our hands until the finale.
The fact they've now pushed the mystery helicopter, and Janus' suspicious background into the central part of the show is also refreshing, and giving me some hope. The Savior arc was just too damn long and tedious. The show desperately needs something new.

And I think season 9 will be a new beginning.

That was an okay episode. I was sad to see Simon go but he'd really outlived his usefulness. I had to laugh at Eugene being a badass boss. But it was funny when he puked on Rosita.
I would've thought there'd have been more tension building towards next weeks finale.

Negan used Ric Flair's line "to be the man, you've gotta beat the man." On last night's episode.
