I don’t know about you guys, but I was hoping Simon would beat Negan. I knew it wouldn’t happen, but in my opinion, Simon had been much more entertaining than Negan.

as if i didn't hate looking at mac and cheese ENOUGH!!! and not with a bang (like some saviors) but a whimper ..... or a crunch if you will ..... and negan said it all for simon after EASILY beating him!!! sure he got the first shots in, but simon was all mouth, and NEVER had the fists or guile to beat the MAN! it was just a case of how quick negan ended it, simply and effectively, with his own two hands! but it's the mullet man that made me laugh the most this season, not only utterly annoying rosita with his constant yammering (she should have been used to that though) ..... NOT ONLY giving her the old HEAVE ho but hiding in the ash pile so funny! what an asshole indeed heartbreaking to hear carls' words read out by himself in the prologue, then the letter to negan, which only made him mad because he genuinely thought was going to make a difference. and after seeing the trailer of the finale, they're going all out game of thrones WHICH NO ONE HAS SEEN! cannot wait

I've been enjoying this stretch of episodes a lot more than previously. It just feels like important things are happening, the characters have more well defined arcs, and we're all not just sitting on our hands until the finale. The fact they've now pushed the mystery helicopter, and Janus' suspicious background into the central part of the show is also refreshing, and giving me some hope. The Savior arc was just too damn long and tedious. The show desperately needs something new. it doesn't need something NEW i think it needs something LESS! going by the pace of this season, especially the first half, having TOO many characters to play with does have a detrimental effect. give someone else the starring role, story rick "disappearing" but some back, and don't have grandiose plans ..... even back to the roving group mentality, 'cos that's where desperation and suspense really come into it! or just have a few main characters in a more focused story

It’s safe to say that whenever I play GTAV again I’ll be using Trevor and a bat at some time.

First time season ended on a more "upbeat" note since like Season 4
Wonder if we will get the time skip next season

Maggie and Daryl heel turn That caught me by surprise, especially Jesus apparently joining in on it, this second half of season 8 has been pretty good.

Yea we really haven't seen a Civil War before so that was actually a pleasant surprise with those 3 Lauren has been having contract issues with them so this could be a way to write her out if they go full force with it. Maggie I can understand but Jesus and Daryl came from left Also they are doing a decent job of humanizing Negan. The hurt in his eyes when Rick brought up Carl wasn't an act by him

Are skipping the whole Whisper thing or will this Maggie stuff take place along with that? Think we get whispers along with Maggie. She said they will bide their time and get stronger so I would think we would see some type of time skip Whispers without Carl will def be different along with Rick not being crippled. I don't expect this to be a Civil War with both sides beefing but if it does that will def be a steep change

Yeah, I don’t blame Maggie for wanting Negan dead. It’s cool Rick wants to make a new world. But Maggie’s baby will never know their father because of Negan. Could make for some good conflict in season 9.

Could make for some good conflict in season 9. Which they also addressed in the comic but not to this extent Jesus seemed reluctant to be apart of this but you never know because that would be against his character to want someone dead

Are skipping the whole Whisper thing or will this Maggie stuff take place along with that? It's gonna be different but we're to assume it's going to happen. That group of Walkers was surrounded by pikes and poles which in comics is Whisper territory, so that group might now be all Walkers But without Carl, there's going to be some major changes to the arc if it happens. And with Rick also in better shape. I don't know how exactly but yeah. It also has huge plot implications for Negan, so I don't see how they skip it. The Maggie turmoil just adds more to it and probably makes Carl's absence less noticable.

Well in this instance Rick will now get all the interactions Carl would have gotten with Negan I assume they will cut out Lydia and just go the straight forward route dealing with the whispers. I wonder if Magna and her group will be cut too since the TV series already has an abundance of characters
