I'm on episode 6 and have been enjoying it. Although, the sudden realization that all the cancellations means I'll no longer have the continuing misadventures of Turk Barrett did bum me out.
Bernthal is great in the role.

Just finished episode 5 myself
Everyone else saw Vladimir Kozlov right? I’m not crazy?

I was thinking of giving it a try tonight. Can someone tell me if it's a bit more action-oriented this time around? That was my one huge gripe with season 1.

I think Episode 9 is my favorite so far. Every episode I'm enjoying more than the last.
It's also why a critics review never has/never will hold any weight with me.

It's pretty cool that you are giving up on 13 episode season after a episode and a half. Damn right. I'm not wasting 11 hours of my life on what I know is garbage. If it was good, would've been good by the first episode. Seems reasonable...

Bernthal is great in the role. If it was me, I would've had a scene where Frank kills a guy who is a network executive who's really a drug cartel as a dig at Netflix

Up to episode 9
Enjoying it but kinda disappointed that they have still went with Frank as the reluctant punisher where he is only responding to situations
Also wish they had went with Billy as full on evil Jigsaw. Think it would have been better than almost sympathic amnesiac Billy and the part time pilgrim as the villains (Or even if they had the pilgrim be the actual full time villain)

Of all the places he's been shot at, I don't think Frank has ever been shot in the ass

I'm sick of the Netflix Marvel shows doing the reluctant protagonist shit.

I finished the season (just before my NetFlix subscription expired. Boo yah!) and I really enjoyed it but found the absolute ending scene a bit disappointing (and super generic). Pilgrim is a cliche character at the start but by the end of the season, I liked his development. Amy worked well as what essentially became Frank's surrogate daughter. Madani is hit or miss for me. The Doctor looked like Maya Rudolph when she had her hair pulled back. {Spoiler}I wanted one more scene with Beth. Some brutal fight scenes, some fun shoot'em ups, and perhaps one of the funniest moments to me in any Marvel season.

Y'know {Spoiler}The ending with Punisher doing his thing followed by a Stan Lee tribute was quite something.

Finished last night and really enjoyed the season. Not as good as season 1, but still a very fun watch. As usual with these Marvel Netflix shows, it could have benefited from a reduced episode count.
The Punisher vs Russians in the gym, and the John Pilgrim vs White supremacists scenes were BRUTAL. These shows would just never work on Disney Plus. The shows announced for that platform (Loki, Vision/Scarlet Witch, etc) will not come close the mood and tone of these Netflix shows.
Biggest gripes were that the John Pilgrim storyline was messy at times, and Billy’s scars should have been MUCH worse. He kept complaining about being hideous, but seriously he looked like a male mode with a few scrapes on his cheek. Was hoping for a gruesome reveal there.
Also would have loved a Micro cameo.
The actor who plays Punisher absolutely nails the character. I will miss the show for sure.

I thought Jigsaw was supposed to have a completely effed up face? This dude is just slightly less handsome.
