I do wonder how Vince went from "Dire financial straits" in November to bringing Tyson in by January. Did he visit the track?! Well, you've saved a fortune on hair oil by getting rid of the Hitman, McMahon!

I don't think Bret would've done Vince like that, but I also never thought Madusa would've done what she did either. Bischoff broke all the rules of wrestling. Nothing was off-limits at that point. I don't blame Vince for not taking the chance, though I've long thought Montreal was a work anyway.

Someone mentioned Warrior being selfish for holding up Vince for money so I will just make quick follow up on that one. In no way was Warrior selfish for asking what's his. He got into the most basic negation tactics by asking for Hogan's complete package but expecting only to settle for half a mil WM payday, Vince hit him back with some fairness of pay that should be spread all over the talent in which he replies where was there fairness when he was working all the main events back in the day. Usual Vince's turning upside down BS just like in Bret's case where he had change of hearts.
Bottom line and lesson learned here is don't invest emotionally into business that's not yours, your boss is your friend up to a point when discussing business begins, always ask for what you are worth before doing anything in the first place. Once you do something for free and then expect to be rewarded you are then at the mercy of the other side. Sometimes it works if it's pennies on the dollar but when it's 1:1 or more the most probable end game is you still settling for the pennies or walking away.
