Over the past few days, I got the impression that she just comes off as a massive star. She's a good promo, and has a casual and confident feel to her performance. And also that she understands the whole point of wrestling, which is to be ridiculous and over-the-top, and she goes for it.
I like how she basically acts like she owns the arena when she's on TV. And it was surprising to see how nice and down-to-earth she is outside of WWE, I really thought her character was her real-life personality.
At first, I didn't really understand the point of her gimmick. But now she's grown into it so well, and has made it her own.
I got a feeling that WWE will double her money on her next contract. She just gets the concept of how to perform in wrestling.

She's become rather polarizing the last few months here and I'm not sure I would make her the focal point of he female division of any brand either, at least for this length of time. She definitely has a superstar quality to her. She has a great look, her wrestling is improving, and she is the best female promo in the company. I just think they need to scale her back her push a bit though.

At least when I was watching regularly, she was one of the rare few woman or man that just 'gets it' in terms of performing. The mic work, the facial expressions, body language etc--she just knows how to be a professional wrestler.

People might scoff at this but she is one of the best on the mic in the company; Male or Female. Charismatic. Pronounced character. She's f***ing over despite playing such a heel. She deserves all the success she's had.

I'm just going to be real.
Straight up, ever since Alexa won the Raw title I can't stand watching her. Whether she's cutting a promo, whether she's in a backstage segment, whether she's wrestling, I can't deal with it. The issue is that she's essentially the Roman Reigns of the Women's Division except she's a heel. She makes those she works with look bad and she stalls the angles she's in. Nobody thought Mickie would win those other 394 times they've wrestled, nobody thought Sasha would get her belt back, hell the reason Bayley's the way she is today is because that horrible Alexa feud. Fact is Alexa is booked horribly.
I don't care how realistic her character is if I hate seeing her on tv. She's one of the reasons why I don't watch full programs anymore.

Bliss is a solid enough hand. Great look, good promo, OK in the ring... But I can understand those who are a bit sour on her given the way she’s been booked as champion, basically getting on top in all the important exchanges with Bayley, Banks and James.

She's definitely sitting on the back burner on Raw right now despite holding the belt. They foolishly debuted Asuka and THEN debuted Absolution and neither of them can go straight to the title so now Alexa has nothing to do.

I like her but I do have a couple issues. One is that she needs to learn to wrestle various styles, it was jarring watching Survivor Series where Charlotte was towering over her and had to play the face in peril for almost the entire match. That'd be kind like Brian Kendrick just working Kane over like it was nothing. That said, I do enjoy some of the work I see her do but her booking is horrible and needs to change. I can only think of one person she's feuded with on the main roster that hasn't come out looking worse for it (Naomi, because so far she's the only one who really got one over on her). I think she's solid but a character like hers should not be running roughshod over your top female stars like it's nothing. I am curious to see how she develops though.

They foolishly debuted Asuka and THEN debuted Absolution and neither of them can go straight to the title so now Alexa has nothing to do. Especially since they didn't fix the reason why they moved Alexa to Raw. Which was that the two main faces were made to look like chumps thanks to Charlotte's booking. So they moved a new top heel so they could build them back up... but then didn't. I like her but I do have a couple issues. One is that she needs to learn to wrestle various styles, it was jarring watching Survivor Series where Charlotte was towering over her and had to play the face in peril for almost the entire match. Part of that was also on the WWE's way of face wrestling which is NEVER SELL ANYTHING. the story was built of Alexa messing up Charlotte's arm with a few early cheap shots with the ring ropes and apron... which let her start working over her ribs since she could only use one arm to defend herself. But... again since the WWE tell their faces never to sell the story of the match gets lost and doesn't make any real sense.

Why is she awesome? Easy, she has exemplary mic skills and is constantly improving in the ring. Would I have liked a more even program with her and Bayley? Sure I would, but Bayley seems to have gradually gotten her heat back just by turning in fine performances every time out. She isn't the white-hot star she came up as, but she can be if they move her to Smackdown. As for Mickie, did she really need the title in their program? Probably not, since Asuka is the endgame most likely anyway. But none of this would be possible if Alexa had come to Raw and stalled upon debuting. She's going to make Asuka look like even more of a killer, which is the right move. Alexa is a star on the rise, easily slipping into the Trish Stratus 03-04 heel role and it's been awesome to see!

Alexa is definitely the best promo in the Women's division. However, her booking has been confusing for the past month or so, more specifically since the debut of Absolution. I understand that it's Absolution against the world and everything but how come the 2 first weeks, she ran off when Absolution attacked everyone in the ring and this week, she was with the group of women retaliating? This is the kind of stuff that can definitely turn off the most educated fan as consistency is always welcome in any angle going on TV.

She was attacked by Absolution their first week, so she's going to want revenge. And she took off, because she was outnumbered. It was 3 healthy people against a group that wasn't at 100%. Now the numbers are in her favor, so she'll help out.

Alexa's push has completely destroyed my interest in her. She was one of my favorites during SmackDown's heyday last year but ever since she won the title for the first time she's been slowly sinking into, "Get the f*** off my TV," territory and Raw's made this problem a billion times worse.
It really isn't helping that her and Carmella debuted at the same time and while Alexa started off stronger I by now consider Carmella way better in basically every way. Including in her push being far more restrained and longterm instead of just overnight being an unstoppable god-empress.

Why does it bother you? I mean shouldn't you want them to succeed as often as they can? I mean I'm impatient as f*** waiting for Mella to cash-in but I'm chill with how both are used.

She is one of the best talkers in all of Women's Wrestling to me, she absolutely gets her character and just seems to understand wrestling as a whole. She has also improved in ring drastically from when she first began and I really think some people are too harsh on her in that regard, I don't like her Punch being a finish though just stick with the DDT and Twisted Bliss
What has soured people to her has already been mentioned, her push has been terrible. It's like a worse version of Charlotte because at least when Charlotte was a dominant monster she is like this 6'5 woman who is believable in the role, while Alexa should be a cowardly Honkey Tonk Type she is portrayed as an asskicking machine, and while that can work with the likes of a Tazz, Alexa is not really a fit for this kind of role with her moveset and overall promo skill. It's why the Bayley Feud was such a wreck and has seemingly put Bayley in disrepair, Sasha looked like an idiot AGAIN like she had with Charlotte beforehand, Mickie got fed to her just as she was getting her groove back, and that Charlotte Survivor Series match she uselessly dominated in such an unbelievable fashion was shit on as much as it was.
Alexa isn't the problem, she's great, her overpush is the problem, it shows that even a great worker and performer could be turned on from an overpush. There needs to be balance, equality, and variation, but Alexa has held both belts in under a year and it has stagnated the divisions a bit. She needs a break, in a huge way, from the main belt feud. She's not Roman Reigns level push bad, but it has become way tiring, especially when you see people like Asuka who seem to be stuck in limbo due to it.

Not everyone likes Bliss as much as you, that's why it bothers them. Not everyone likes the overpushing of a character even if the character is good. If the character is always at the top there is no reason to care, there needs to be more variety and more effort put into the push and to grow the division. Alexa shouldnt be the top champion and winner all the time, that's what got Roman Reigns shit on. She needs new feuds and a title break, she won both brand titles in the span of a year. So its not like no one wants Alexa to succeed, it's that she HAS succeeded, and she should get a cooldown period and maybe chase for the belt again in a couple of months, maybe even as a face or something. What people are looking for is difference, the last year has been Alexa dominates both divisions as a heel, and it has been a detriment to stars like Becky, Naomi, Mickie, Bayley, Sasha, among others. That's not her fault, it's bookings, that's the thing you really need to understand here, no one here really hates Bliss or wants to see her fail, they want to see Booking get their heads out of their ass and well... write the character to stay fresh and interesting and not stagnate the whole division.

To me she's what Charlotte should've been in her heel run, a strong champion but one you can feel cool with cheering for and representing through her merch, plus unlike Charlotte who had to SHOUT EVERYTHING as a heel, Lexi just has this cool confident swagger to her, the kind of chick that you know you're supposed to boo but can't help but cheer because of her excellent mic game and facial expressions.
