I honestly thought it was Dixie too, for some reason.
Oddly enough, Jarrett never even occurred to me.

I honestly thought it was Dixie too, for some reason. Me too. Wasn't she a concert promoter before she got involved with wrestling? I figured she went back to doing that.

It's okay, running TNA shows prepared him for empty venues.

Shame, because jokes aside, the Pumpkins (especially the original line up) are still a killer live show. I know if they play the UK I’ll be there.

I never much cared for them at their peak. I damn sure don’t care about them now.

I probably won’t because I barely ever go to live shows anymore, but am interested. I love the way the article is written anyway, you can tell the author had a fun time putting together this one.

I wasn't a fan of theirs growing up when they were huge. While I've gone back and rediscovered some of the music from back then and really appreciate it. Smashing Pumpkins just doesn't do it for me.

Saw the Pumpkins years ago, with Red Red Meat opening for them. Was an OK show at best. But they are a band were I enjoy their first 2 albums and nothing after that.

Maybe they shouldn't charge such outrageous prices for tickets. Pumpkins sure Aint worth $500 to see live.

He's using the nwa model of running shows, doing shows without fans attending it.

Well when in some places the Noise Bleed seat are a 100 bucks, no wonder. Some ego to think there where ever "that" big. That a reunion show now is worth that price.

Well Corgan is a nutjob. I liked the Pumpkins quite a bit, but I would never support him and his Alex Jones-esque conspiratorial shit.

I'm surprised Corgan doesn't do the shrewd thing of having Nick Aldis defend his title as one of the openers to the tour.
Gives a reason for wrestling fans to support it, gets his new product in the eyes of Corgan's fans, and you could probably get stupid people to flock to it thinking "Wow, Smashing Pumpkins and NWA are doing a reunion tour together?"

An NWA reunion that might just finally include Eazy E:
