C’mon, was this really “transphobic?” Jesus, people here love to be offended. This was just horribly lame and unfunny. Okay, I skipped through 95 percent of it, but from what I saw, they weren’t even acting like ladies. It was just crap. . Exactly.

I thought kayfabe wise they were supposed to clearly just be 3 random, no name goons that Zayn hired to humiliate Lashley and try to beat him up. Lashley didn't fight them for being in Drag, more so because they tried to gang attack him. It still wasn't a very good segment either way.

Y'all know that as long as WWE keeps getting rewarded with billion dollar network deals, Vince has no incentive whatsoever to change anything that he's doing, right? And when his time is up, his kids/H probably won't do (as much) silly shit, but they're definitely still going to do some things that we don't find entertaining, especially when they have a network who doesn't really understand the audience, the talent, or the product paying them lots of money to "just book the show like your father would".

I like stupid stuff in wrestling, but yikes that was uncomfortable to watch, not on an offensive level but rather more on a f***ing garbage level.

Count me in on not finding it offensive as they weren’t portraying transwomen. It is offensive however to the wrestling fan. The only thing that’s missing is Buff Bagwell beating up Scott Steiner’s mom. Should’ve gone with a Loud House gimmick.

Yeah I really don't see how it was transphobic or homophobic. It was absolutely terrible though.

When I think of all that they had on paper to work with last year, and how they then proceeded to wipe their asses with it and pull out shit like this, I pray that New Japan does make really huge inroads into North America and Europe and manages to get Vince and co. shaking in their boots. I think they'll at least listen to fans more, give fans more of what they want, and are just waiting for some of WWE's talent's contracts to come up to make offers said talents can't refuse.

I can’t believe people are actually crying and being super offended by something done on a wrestling show need to seriously check their sensitivity at the door. Was it dumb? Yep. Could they have done something better? Yep. But should you actually cry because it hurt your feelings. No. Jesus Christ it’s a tv show. Get over it.

There were worse things like Jerry Lawler saying stuff to Goldust or the crap Mark Henry did. And don't forget that memorable bout with Michael Cole. And also them dressing up is different, I mean William Regal did that before:

Hideous. Fire whoever came up with it and whoever told Lashley to play along instead of immediately killing Sami. I'd include whoever greenlit it as well, but we all know who that was...

In 20 years, I'll reference this segment when someone asks me why I always carry a broom around.
Poor Sami... he tried so hard, but there was no amount of effort that would have been able to polish that turd.

There's like one person who talked about maybe crying and I feel like it's more 'This is just so bad it was the last straw and I'm upset because I love wrestling but I can't take this shit anymore', I don't see why this has to become a thing about "the sensitive people and their feelings".

It's so weird how quick critiques get "OH IS THE PC POLICE OFFENDED HOW DARE YOU CARE YOU'RE CRYING RIGHT NOW" when no one is reacting that way.

Forgive me if I'm being ignorant and I must admit I haven't taken the time to even watch the segment but what about it is transphobic?
Is it specifically mocking trans people or is it more as I suspect a bunch of heels dressing as lasheys sisters to get under his skin?
What about when Bobby Heenan tried sneaking in to Raw dressed as an elderly women and then a stereotypical Jew, Was that transphobic, ageist or anti sematic? Or just wrestling sillyness?
Also what about when Tyler breeze and fandango dressed as the Bella's? Or is that ok because it was entertaining?
Did any trans people watch the segment and get offended? Or is it faux outrage?

If Santina debuted today it would labeled as offensive.

Are we in a bold new era where people are so ready to fight back against the offended babies that they will try to stick it up for something as horrifically unfunny and bad as Santina? Bruh. I don't care where you fall politically, socially, or on the issue of anchovies, we should all be offended by Santina because there were actual people who believed that was good comedy that we, the fans, were going to enjoy and laugh at.
