Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, or Rocko?

Of the four original Nicktoons, which one was your favorite. While I liked all of them, my favorite back in the day was R&S, however, i've found that Rocko holds up a lot better. I'd even argue it was pretty much the original Regular Show (mundane things like buying a tv or going on a plane ride go into strange directions).

Never ever liked Ren & Stimpy. Didn't "get it".

I loved Doug. A friend of mine nailed why Doug was so entertaining to watch..dude went through a bunch of TERRIBLE situations you're glad you never did.

Rugrats was great.

Rocko's probably my favorite. It says something I go back now as an Adult and it's just as funny (and more funny, in ways) than it was for me as a child.

Doug, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy. I still think Doug and Rugrats are terrific and will watch them when I get the chance.

Rugrats had some really fantastic, very funny writing.

Rocko with Rugrats as a close second. I would have said Ren and Stimpy if were only talking about the first couple seasons though.

The only one of the bunch I didn't really watch as a kid was Ren & Stimpy. My parents thought it was straight garbage and I was pretty much forbidden from watching it.

The only one I liked as a kid was Rocko. Was big into it, the others... Not so much.

The Spumco era of Ren and Stimpy.

Feels really weird to say that considering John K's scumminess, but it's the truth. Some of the legit funniest cartoons ever made.

That being said, I do like the Games stuff, but the comedy was just far crazier with the Spumco era.

Like, Doug was to me my first realization that Disney made anything suck, considering that when they picked up the rights, the show became crap due to all the meddling.

I never GOT R&S. It was too gross for me to get into.

I really loved Doug. He had those imagination scenes, and they kind of reminded me of Muppet Babies, or even daydreams I'd have myself at that age.

Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life I just didn't get into at all. Ren and Stimpy had some funny stuff on occasion (the wrestling episode) but mostly it was just gross out humor which I've never found funny. Rocko had an art style I didn't find appealing in the least, and I guess too many of the jokes went way over my head because I didn't think the show was funny at all.

Rugrats had its moments, but as the show exploded into mega popularity, I didn't think it was really that great or deserved that much attention.
