Stills for a better look (keeping min mind this was a screen test and not necessarily the final design) Looks like Kurt Angle is about to pull it off and give a creepy ass smile to the camera.

I will say, the ONLY thing wrong with the face paint is the eyebrows. Lose those, and it's aces.

Loving the suit and his physicality.

Huh. Maybe that is the final look. If so, I gots no qualms with it. I like the simple, retro look. Fitting with the time period it's based in.
I am immensely psyched about this as I was about Heaths portrayal.

I hate that they gave him clown paint, but that suit is on point.
I still think there's a good chance that this is a look he uses as a regular crook, though. That maybe the acid bath will still be a thing. I just don't want another long hair/sloppy paint combo. Ledger has the corner market on that version.

I was really happy when I heard Joaquin was playing the Joker because the dude is legit left of centre.
No I see the pics and the little teaser, I simply can’t wait to see this. I’m digging the face paint and I’m not really caring if this is his ‘final form’ or not. I have a feeling this is going to be amazing.

I mean, The Trickstet on The Flash tv show is a better Joker than Leto, but this is starting to look kinda good

Eh. I hope it’s good. But if it is, and it’s a success, what does that mean for the DCCU and comic book movies at large? Success of TDK already cursed a lot of films with the “dark is what people want!” idea.

This honestly might be awesome. Yep, that is 100 times better then Jared Leto's excuse of the Joker. Any chance we get a Harley Quinn that doesn't look like a Stripper in the Crack Neighborhood?

Don't know if this have been posted yet but.. m.youtube.com/watch?v=6Bt0slFQVI8I know it's not much but his performance in that little clip totally sold me on this!. The way he moves, his smile, has mannerism. There was more joker in that clip than anything leto tried to do

Success of TDK already cursed a lot of films with the “dark is what people want!” idea. It'll probably take the DC Universe right back to square one, but the MCU started the same summer as TDK came out and has made all the money without being overly influenced by it at all. They didn't rewrite First Avenger and Thor to be gritty and "realistic" based on TDK being such a huge commercial and critical success.

Won’t let my hopes get too high but I’m definitely liking everything I’ve seen of this so far. Really hoping this one turns out good.

Success of TDK already cursed a lot of films with the “dark is what people want!” idea. The word "dark" has lost all meaning to describe a film. We don't even know how serious, or funny this film will be. They seem to be veering towards the stand-up approach by all the casting and Phillips himself has comedy as his M.O. TDK didn't "curse" anything. Marvel found a successful approach and D.C. Has been stumbling mainly cause of Snyder. That's it. If ANY influence comes out of this it might be to focus more on stand alone Elseworld stories that don't hinge on a cinematic universe. Which, for D.C., right now, sounds awesome.

Probably no dice in this flick. But hey if recent rumors are to be believed, Stripper in a cracked our neighborhood Harley Quinn and shops-at-hot-topic-Ima-be-a-f***ing-douche-in-real-life-Leto Joker are primed to return in their own thing.
