strictly as an interview subject for WWE documentaries/specials. Get footage of him talking about history and personalities. That kind of footage is timeless and could have value for future projects. He could come in and talk about Masa Saito who was one of his primary opponents during his first big push in AWA. They did a big angle where Saito turned heel and threw salt in Hogan's eyes.
Stuff like that. I wouldn't rush to put him on Raw, SmackDown, or PPVs.

Exactly the same as Flair, Sting, HBK, and any of the other stars of that era are being used.

"Well, I'll tell ya, brother, that Shaiti guy, he threw the salt in my eyes ,and two weeks later, I was main eventing Wrestlemania after my third Metallica concert, brother! He really put me over...he...he died a few days after that, jack..." is the kind of stuff you'll get from Hogan about "histories and personalities". The man's deluded, and can't tell reality from his own self-aggrandizement anymore. He's worthless.

Kane rips off his clothes and burns it in a trash can.

Pre/Post show analyst, WWE network stuff, occasional in ring promo with other legends, backstage skits.......etc. Hell, I'd have him do color commentating too. Everyone knows all 3 full time color guys (Graves/Coach/Saxton) are the absolute drizzling shits Hogan doing color commentary would be interesting. Could he be able to be a Monsoon type or would he be closer to Randy Savage? Probably closer to Savage. If he commentated as Terry Bollea instead of Hulk Hogan, he could be decent. The dude has 40 plus years in the business, tons of knowledge

Video games and toys. That's it. Hulk Hogan was the reason I got into wrestling, but dude offers NOTHING in 2018. His great work is on the Network already.

Go through with the inevitable "Redemption of Hulk Hogan" documentary on the Network. Fans can at least choose if they care to watch it, those fans who do watch can also choose how they feel about Hogan and his sincerity afterward. Following this, if enough of the fanbase respond positively to the initial documentary, include him as a future talking head on further Network shows when his input is relevant.
Sticking him out there on a live RAW, SD or PPV though? That's forcing him upon the fanbase, and he'd likely get a mixed reaction at best.
WWE need to be really delicate with this, with the WWE Network they have the ability to cater to the fans who seek modern day Hogan. Without forcing his presence on those who just don't care to see him and risking some awkward situations.

Hogan as Jambi, a talking head in a box atop the commentators table.

Anthropomorphic Hedgehog with super creative control. Hulk the Hoghog. Hulk would be Mario. They both hold down other, better skilled video game stars.

STEP 1 -Don't resign Brock Lesnar
STEP 2-Use the Lesnar money to hire Allsin Brie into joining WWE as her Glow charecter Zoya The Destroya
STEP 3-Make Hogan replicate James Ellsworth and help get the strap on Zoya,in the process only have Zoya gain massive heat by using Heel tactic's to defeat minority wrestlers
STEP 4-Count the profits

He's in the same boat as Flair and Bret Hart as less is more. Three or four times a year he comes out, does some dumb backstage segment, waves to the crowd and leaves.

He can't wrestle anymore, so you have to give him something to do that he excels at, like head of social media or something.

nWo Hall of Fame induction. Hogan, Hall, Nash, Bischoff, Giant, Syxx, Dibiase. You know what the best/most amusing part of this would be? All the B Team lower card guys who'd surface and gripe about not being invited and how vital they were to nWo succeding.
