To comment on the show in general I never expected the show to sell out even though this is the 1st All Women PPV and they will have some returning legends
Women are still on their way up and the goal of this PPV should be to see where they are at as far as a draw is concerned and let the women show out in the ring to make people want to go to the next PPV

Like, I'm all for having fun with someone saying something dumb or silly or whatever but this ain't it.
Pick your battles guys. A bit too eager to go in on Meltz over this one IMO.

Want to know what the problem is? Aside from the weak card, let's take a look shall we:
September 16th - Hell in a Cell October 6th - Super Show-Down October 28th - WWE Evolution November 18th - Survivor Series
Yeah, your "historic event" doesn't have any breathing room for the rest of your shows, WWE. Oversaturating your PPVs like this does nothing but hurt overall ticket sales in the long run.

And don't forget the Saudi show that's rumored for November 2nd that will probably be airing on the Network too.

yyyyyup. my first thought was "maybe don't book Alexa vs. Trish and a possible main event of Nikki Bella vs. Ronda Rousey that both sound horrible" With all the women on your roster, this is the best you can do? And for bonus points, "Remember Mickie and Lita's completely bog-standard matches from 13 years ago? No? Well let's do it again anyway!" Which is why I wanted Mickie vs. Trish

Lita publicly (well, on Table for 3) complained about how hard Kairi Sane hit her in the Rumble. Wonder if that's why she's working with someone she knows.

Lita is fragile and i'm surprised they are putting her in the ring
She looked stiff at the Rumble

It's almost as if women's wrestling isn't a draw... You seriously wanna go here? I'm not saying anything that's not true.

Main issue is how WWE presenting it. All they're saying it's "The HISTORIC 1st All Women's WWE PPV!" and have 2 matches named. That's it. And in their logic they feel the fact that it's WWE event, it will sell itself. Bingo. There hasnt' been much build for this card yet overall, and you're calling in part-timers instead of your hot new talent. I'm not shocked sales are slow.

I don't get how Meltzer is being sexist. He said the tickets are selling "Slower" than expected. He didn't say "LOL, Wamans wrestling. No1 wantz to see dat!"
As others have said. This isn't the female performer's fault. As much as it's the WWE having 11 billion shows, that it's impossible to keep track and care about everything, Evolution is getting lost in the shuffle. Also instead of going for the obvious matches, such as Ronda vs Asuka/Charlotte, Bayley vs Sasha. They're giving us all these goofy "Dream" matches that aren't really that dreamy.
And as much as it's hard to swallow. Yes, the women aren't a big draw on their own. Just like how 205 Live can't draw on their own. An all Tag Team PPV would probably fail, an all legends PPV would probably fail. Most WWE fans want to see the whole package of the WWE. All three rings of the circus, not just one.

6ix9ine vs. Offset in a "Treyway STOOPID Street Fight" match for Survivor Series. Quavo and Takeoff in the background about to pounce like The Shield when Joe Budden runs from the back with a chair Then that leads to 6ix9ine and DJ Akademiks vs. Quavo and Takeoff at Royal Rumble for the tag belts. 50 Cent guest refs.
