You know, maybe don't remember his name, but if you see him in a movie, you figure he'll at least be good in it. Mine's probably Shea Whigham, from 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Fargo', and others I swear, I never remember his name, but he's been good in pretty much everything

Lately it's been James Karen, of Return of the Living Dead and Poltergeist. Mostly known by New Yorkers as the Pathmark Man.

James Rebhorn. He was in Scent of a Woman, Independence Day, Carlito's Way, My Cousin Vinny, Regarding Henry, The Game, Blank Check. Tends to play bureaucratic type in the way of the hero, but I like his turn against type in Regarding Henry as a nice doctor in a smallish role. Sam McMurry. He was in Christmas Vacation, Addams Family Values, but more guest appearances on TV shows, usually as a sleazy guy like in Dear, John where he played the guy that Judd Hirsch's wife left him for. I do like his turn in Christmas Vacation as Clark's coworker friend who is not nefarious.

John Pyper-Ferguson. Throw a stone and you'll likely hit a TV show from the past 30 years he's appeared in - Star Trek: TNG, Battlestar Galactica, Suits, Last Ship, Bisco County Jr, The X-Files, Millennium, The Crow, The Outer Limits, Agents of SHIELD, Caprica, Highlander, MacGuyver, CSI, The Huntress, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Flashpoint, The L Word, Castle, Alphas, Fringe, and about a hundred more. Usually plays a scumbag to great effect.

Second vote for James Cromwell. Zephram Cochrane always wins.

Al Leong! A staple is many, many 80's action movies. Literally was just going to say this guy. Be it Big Trouble in Little China, Getting an ice cream cone in the back of the head in Last Action Hero or as Ghengis Khan in Bill & Ted. Always entertaining to see appear.

Endo in Lethal Weapon (and a Triad member in the fourth movie), the chocolate-stealing henchman in Die Hard, and a Shadow Warrior in Escape from L.A. are a few of my favourite "Hey, Al Leung showed up" moments.

For like twenty years I knew if I saw this dude the movie was going to be amazing. I didn't even know who he was until like 3 years ago outside of "That badass from *insert awesome movie here*"

Miguel Ferrer. He was always 'that guy from Robocop', but was captivating in whatever he showed up in.
