Tho a part of me wanted her to just do some crazy shit like try to kill Dany on top of her dragon I have a better, more crazier and thus more awesome, idea. Have Arya... disguise herself as the dragon. Dany would be up in the sky flying her dragon, and Arya would be like "surprise, this ain't your dragon" and they both fall down from the sky.

Also, how much did King Robert hate Cersei that he could f*** every chick in Westeros and have a child but struggled to get it up and f*** Cersei? He didn't struggle with her, she just made sure he was drunk and finished him with her mouth, it was explained I think in show and book. I believe she miscarried one kid that was his and could not bear the idea of bringing a kid of his into the world so she just let Jamie bat cleanup and told Robert they were his. And if it wasn't outright stated (it's been awhile since I read A Game of Thrones), it's heavily implied that Robert raped her, too. Robert and Cersei's marriage was very much a political one and the two had no love whatsoever between each other. The woman Robert actually loved was Lyanna Stark and, well, we know how that went.

Life goes on. They still had to tend to the relatively mundane business of governing, and with people like Bronn and Tyrion on the council, lewd jokes are inevitable. As for Daeny, I could understand how they would never want to speak about her ever again. The bigger concern was where her bad ass dragon had gone, and they did address that. I get that's what happened... but was it really the best way to wrap up a decade of Dany being one of the most prominent characters on the show? It took about an hour of screen time for her to go from the heroic Queen, to crazy tyrant, to Daednerys, to being whisked away and largely forgotten about. Agreed, this season could have been like, 3 normally. But the end is weeks/months later, what would they even say? It's about how they'll rebuild the world, they didn't mention any of the other characters who've died, no Jamie, Cercei, Varys etc. Like Hit Girl said, life goes on.

Faceless Man "magic" also changes their height, as demonstrated by both Naario showing up in the Waif's face and Arya herself as the maid when she killed Walder Frey. Hopefully Cersei wasn't horny when "Jamie" showed up, otherwise Arya would have needed the Faceless Men to give her a magic dick too. I get that's what happened... but was it really the best way to wrap up a decade of Dany being one of the most prominent characters on the show? It took about an hour of screen time for her to go from the heroic Queen, to crazy tyrant, to Daednerys, to being whisked away and largely forgotten about. I figured the deaths of her close campanions, her discovery of duplicity from her allies, and the death of her dragons pushed her to the edge, and she just snapped. Nothing about the motivations/logic of the characters bother me, I'm fine with the rationale as to why she went mad. But the way they chose to rush through it on screen was... not good. She was the big bad going into the final episode, and ended up being swiftly dispatched to make room for bad comedy skits with Edmure and the Small Council.

I was let down by the episode when I first watched, and have become more disappointed the more I thought about it.

There's only a certain amount of screentime required to kill someone. A farewell kiss, a knife in the heart, and death. The importance of that scene was that she was completely beyond reason at that point and Jon had to reluctantly kill her before she killed thousands more. Then the dragon destroyed the source of all the human conflict. The election and council meetings were also very important, as it decided who would rule from that point on, and how. Personally I liked the Edmure, and Sam, scenes. It's just a little bit of jest contrasting with the world changing decision they had to make.

I'm still just chuckling at the thought of the Dothraki still hanging around King's Landing.

I'm still just chuckling at the thought of the Dothraki still hanging around King's Landing. Especially because pretty much all of them were killed in Episode 3, right? "The end of the Dothraki", except for the several thousand who apparently got better.

Greyworms reaction would have been pretty interesting. Yara didn't seem to pleased. Was Tyrion not the least bit conflicted? Did the Starks just all cheer or were they immediately fearful for the can of (Gray)worms John just opened? By your logic we didn't need to see Cat or Robb being told about Theon's betrayal. We could have just skipped to her freeing Jamie. We didn't need to see a character react to what should have been the most important death of the show for time but we needed to see Arya lose her virginity? We needed to see Tyrion arranging chairs for a good five minutes of screen time? We needed to see Sam helped write a book that was shown just as a jab to Tyrion. We needed to hear them argue about sewers but not see the relief or fear or shock wash over the faces of what were some of the best actors and actresses on tv to what should have been the biggest moment of the series? The characters are reflections of the viewers, we put ourselves in their lives vicariously and if the show runners tell us their reactions to this big moment is unimportant then is it any wonder the death rings emotionless for the fans? Jamie and Cersei's death had more impact BECAUSE we saw Tyrion find them. Did we need to see that? His reaction was predictable too.

God a line of dialogue about some of the dothraki going home and some of them raiding the lands of The Reach would have gone a long way. Seriously, you have a small council meeting. Wrap up some loose ends like that!
