267. Halloween 6: the Curse of Michael Myers. There was a shift in tone in this one. It felt darker and more supernatural, almost like a Hellraiser movie. It wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t that good either. It just was. It explained the overall story of Michael Myers, even including slight reference to the third movie. The violence is really nice and gory. Paul Rudd is terrible though. Worth watching. Director's cut or theatrical version? I think directors cut but how would I know?

only four movies watched last month and they are in no order except in watching order so it is in an order sorry lucy - 8 papadopoulos and sons - 7 fences - 9 rocky - 10 i really enjoyed FENCES, sure being a stage show it was practically made like a stage show, but denzil washingtons acting was powerful and superb, while viola davis steps subtly into that oscar win ..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED then there's sylvester stallones unbelievable screenplay that if you haven't seen this before, watch it and you'll find out why it won best picture and director i still thoroughly enjoy LUCY a lot and still think they can really expand it a lot!

269. The Neverending Story. This movie is extremely dark, twisted and awesome. Great effects that still look convincing. Very creative. They don’t make them like this anymore. The only part I don’t care for is the ending. It’s like “huh?”

#305 - Gremlins
Pretty much the perfection of kiddie horror. This movie is just so much fun. I don’t even have much else to say because if you’ve seen it, you understand how joyous this is. [****]

270. *batteries not included. This is one I watched a hundred times as a kid but haven’t seen in thirty years. It’s... really damn good. That’s all I can say.

Director's cut or theatrical version? I think directors cut but how would I know? Haven't seen it but Wikipedia says the "producer's cut" is a good 40-ish minutes longer, Jamie doesn't die at the beginning, ends with a rune appearing on Loomis' wrist... From what I understand it was only released as part of the Halloween box set that came out a few years ago (and that I completely missed because of stupidity).

Okay well the one I saw Jamie died around twenty minutes in. I...don’t remember the end already. No wait, it was really sudden and rushed. I think the last that was seen/heard of Loomis was him screaming. And it was only around ninety minutes long

#306 - Final Destination 5
This was a pretty consistent series. Each installment is quite good and pretty entertaining. This was fun and did just enough to keep things fresh. Plus, the big plot twist at the end was awesome. [***]

Been on somewhat of an epics binge lately with Ben-Hur, Ten Commandments, El Cid, and Doctor Zhivago.

271. The Stendhal Syndrome. Not at all gory or scary but very twisted and dark. Some good imagery and a few good scenes but a little long.
