I think he signed for a match against AJ. I mean no one thinks about it that these people can just quit their contracts (sure noncompete, but thats fair) . If I would be Omega I would sign that contract and just make up some bullshit later to get out. Edit: Just checked he is a japanese ciitzen, gtfo you cant force someone to stay in a country. Easy to get out of. I wouldnt even worry about it with those Khan Family lawyers. Do you think he's like, literally being held hostage or something? Hey, that one Canadian political party tried to block Gretzky from going to LA that one time. I have heard rumours that after WK ended Gedo drove to Shinzo Abe's house with a piece of rope, a photo of Omega, and a note saying "Kidnap That Motherf***er".

Sorry, first of all this is my 3rd language so it can get a bit confusing when I am excited. What I am saying is that I believe that he could sign to a great WWE contract while only having a WM Match against AJ Styles in Mind. He could just quit his job and join AEW after. What I was saying afterwards were just rambling thoughts of a theoretical legal battle unfolding in front of me. The reason why I bring up his citizenship is a Scenario in which WWE sues after discovering Omega on AEW. Yes I get carried away sometimes. Also I read it like 20x...what was so difficult to understand?

WWE would file an injunction against it in court and would likely win.

Also I read it like 20x...what was so difficult to understand? What The Bull says. But also, his citizenship means he has the right to live and work in Canada and Japan. He’d require a visa to work in the USA, but that wouldn’t be a problem. It has nothing to do with which company he would work for and nothing to do with WWE suing him for breaking a contract. An entertainment contract like this isn’t a job in the way you’re describing, it’s a fixed term contract with agreed conditions. And one of those will be, if you break this contract you owe us a ton of money. Really hope this helps, genuinely trying to.

Yea, also just quitting your contract comes with a lot of BS and is a sunken cost as you'd lose a shit ton of money
You can't just make up some bullshit to get out of a contract, that's not the way it works

At the end of the day I hope Omega doesn't become the new Sting. That great veteran who's great in his prime but then becomes a shadow of his former self and then at the end of his career he finally goes to WWE and basically has a f***ed up experience.

Nothing wrong with Sting as his legacy is still cemented by his NWA/WCW days. If AEW becomes the next WCW with Omega leading the charge, his legacy can be cemented even without a WWE run. If AEW fails to become that legitimate number 2 worldwide company, then yes he may miss his window of opportunity in WWE, assuming he’s signing a 3+ year contract with AEW.

I'm strictly talking about Sting's WWE career. Nowhere in my post did I say "Sting's legacy is screwed up from his time in the WWE", I'm saying that Sting's WWE career wasn't good and his latter TNA career wasn't good either. We all know Sting is Sting based on his earlier career but the point I was making is that I hope Omega doesn't eventually come to the WWE broken down and a shadow of himself like Sting.

Sting Undertale Maybe when Omega shows up in the WWE 15 years from now he'll be in the PS3/360 era of gaming. He'll walk out there with a Resistance: Fall of Man entrance.

Do you think he's like, literally being held hostage or something? Yea, also just quitting your contract comes with a lot of BS and is a sunken cost as you'd lose a shit ton of money
You can't just make up some bullshit to get out of a contract, that's not the way it works
SWERVE: This whole time it turns out Kenny Omega is a sentient internet service provider.

The Flyers' logo is a P with One Wing. *ILLUMINATI* (Otherwise, Comcast's logo is the NBC Peacock)
