Prichard was fine in 2012 when he was booking TNA(best year of the Hogan/Bischoff Era), the main issue with him that the pacing is slow as hell. Wasn’t that also the year of Brooke Hogan and Claire Lynch?

So...I get it, he knows the backend of WWE and he knows how the system works enough to be able to adjust. On the flip side, at a time when you need fresh people creatively to try and push things in a newer direction to get ratings up long term and your answer is a dude whose already been there? Like...f*** sake, man... I don't think it's too crazy a hire. Most tales are as old as time, it's just the good ones can modernize them. I think the key will be if Prichard can do that or more likely sell the ones creative comes up with to Vince. Actually this makes me wonder if this isn't something done by Hunter to get someone Vince has had success with in the meetings to help in dealing with Vince. I don't think it's crazy at all and I agree with you in the logic. It's just so...safe.

I'm interested in less about Prichard returning and more about all these backstage changes that have happened within these past few weeks. New agents, new producers, old talent being let go, this is interesting. There's a definite "shit is going down" undercurrent to all this backstage news lately.

I assume this means Something to Wrestle With will be ending or winding down?

Yeah, more people from the past to freshen things up, that'll fix things.

If this means bringing back vignettes, good. They should have never ended.

I mean I sort of like Bruce, but he's so clearly a huge ass kisser and yes man.
Do we really need another person to tell Vince how great his awful ideas are?

Desperation obviously. WWE has no answers so they have to bring back guys who were successful years ago.
Good start. Prichard/Cornette/Heyman/Jake Roberts creative booking team sounds good.
I never understood why guys with DECADES of experience aren't even being utilized (And just sitting at home) by a company that has been in the crapper for years and years creatively
Prichard knows his shit. Hopefully he gets to actually have some creative control and big Nose and useless Daughter Stephanie don't blackball him out of there

I just don’t see this impacting much. Bruce was obviously dying to go back to WWE. Now that he’s back, he’ll probably be walking on eggshells to stay there:
