I'm interested in less about Prichard returning and more about all these backstage changes that have happened within these past few weeks. New agents, new producers, old talent being let go, this is interesting.

Maybe? It could definitely help. It’s too early to shit on it though. If nothing else it’s going to make a make splash. Something to Wrestle With has a big cult-like fan base. I’m excited. You could tell over the years how much Bruce missed being in the WWE family.

You could tell over the years how much Bruce missed being in the WWE family. Him, personally I’m sure he’s thrilled. I haven’t listened to the show for a while, but his desire to come back bled through the airwaves. But trying to turn the clock back in an attempt to fix their creative woes is backward. This reminds of when they bought in Russo in 2002. Now, Pritchard is not as bad as Russo by any stretch. But that was an attempt to cling a life raft of old ideas during a period of creative drought. It was new ideas and new creative that helped right the ship, however temporarily.

But... why? I've listened to his podcast, and some of his ideas and the crap he defends are just awful. This could possibly make shit worse.

His sucking up paid off. Good for him.

I mean, dude invented The Undertaker/Kane feud. He is proven. Good for him, this has always been his goal.

So...I get it, he knows the backend of WWE and he knows how the system works enough to be able to adjust.
On the flip side, at a time when you need fresh people creatively to try and push things in a newer direction to get ratings up long term and your answer is a dude whose already been there? Like...f*** sake, man...

Considering his apparent disposition towards the Knockouts when he was in TNA, I can't say I'm excited for this dude to be on creative when women's wrestling is more prominent than ever.

His sucking up paid off. Good for him. He’s finally where he belongs, carrying Vince’s bags and then according to Conrad Thompson, blowing Vince. “GET THE CHAPSTICK BRUCE!”

The only good here is that there will finally be a writer who will stand up for their ideas. At least I assume.

I think where he’s really going to make a difference isn’t in angles, but in getting characters over. That’s always been his bread-and-butter. You bet your ass Bruce is going to push for the return of vignettes.
It’d be great to know something about EC3 besides the fact that he doesn’t talk and wears his gear under his clothes.

There's such a weird mish mash of new guys and older guys being hired in and shuffled around right now that I wonder if Trips and Vince didn't divvy up the choices and are battling for supremacy.

Prichard was fine in 2012 when he was booking TNA(best year of the Hogan/Bischoff Era), the main issue with him that the pacing is slow as hell.

Like...f*** sake, man... I don't think it's too crazy a hire. Most tales are as old as time, it's just the good ones can modernize them. I think the key will be if Prichard can do that or more likely sell the ones creative comes up with to Vince. Actually this makes me wonder if this isn't something done by Hunter to get someone Vince has had success with in the meetings to help in dealing with Vince.

Stephanie has gotta be pissed off, she fired Prichard more than ten years ago and then she refused to hire him back when he called her right after tna fired him.
But Vince is static, what it is Mr Burns without his Smithers?
